No Excuse For Pittsburgh to Lose to Miami

That Jags team in 2007 was legit. They ran into New England that next round and they could compete with New England but they learned quickly that if you cannot put pressure on Tom Brady he will pick you apart. They had a better record than Pitt that year, who barely got in.

The Denver loss . . . it happens. You play a tough defense on the road in the playoffs. Should of won that game but it wasn't unreasonable.

I agree with the article. This would be their worse loss since 1994. Double Digit favorites, at home, vs. a backup QB and the most beat up defense in the NFL. They absolutely have no business losing this game to Miami.

It's a shame that they're going to.

Steelers should win no doubt. I only give Miami a 20% chance of winning and that might be generous

It seems like Steeler fans are nervous because of their recent playoff woes. This could favor Dolphins in a way because they will play with energy like their is nothing to lose while the Steelers might play a bit tight. If there is a period in the game when things go a bit awry, that could make them choke. The crowd can be taken out of this, the key is to not allow the Steelers to come out to an early lead and stick with the run game.

my buddy ( a Steelers fan) called me to offer a friendly wager of drinks on the loser of the game. I accepted but told him very improbable that we win this game with our banged up team. His response:
The Steelers have the ability to lose any game against anyone. It's their super hero special ability.

yes but they have 6 Lombardi's.

They would be a "contender who has a chance to beat the Patriots" that would have lost to a terrible banged up defense, a back up QB, and a first year coach. They obviously have all the pressure on them.
