Dolphins waive 2013 first-round pick Dion Jordan

Honest to God if I went out on the streets and found a random stranger and put him in charge of $40M in cap space and 5 picks in the first 3 rounds back in 2013 they would've done a better job than what Ireland did....that was one of the worst offseasons in NFL history. Can't believe Ross kept him for so long.

Truth is that draft was pretty bad talent wise. Very weak draft. Smart thing would have been to trade those picks and pick up more picks for 2014. I remember thinking, just our luck, we have all these picks in the first 3 rounds and the talent pool sucks.

1. Eric Fisher - hasn't lived up to #1 overall.
2. Luke Joekel - bust
3. Dion Jordan - bust
4. Lane Johnson - suspended for PEDs twice
5. Ziggy Ansah - Good player
6. Barkevious Mingo - bust
7. Jonathan Cooper - bust
8. Tavon Austin - bust
9. Dee Milliner - bust
10. Chance Warmack - very average player
11. DJ Fluker - bust
12. DJ Hayden - bust
13. Sheldon Richardson - good player but a huge head case
14. Star Lotulelei - really good player
15. Kenny Vaccaro - average to slightly above average player
16. EJ Manuel - lol...bust

That was the top half of that draft. Don't think I've seen a worse draft maybe ever.

Waiting on the book co-authored by Dion Jordan and Albert Haynesworth..."How to work the NFL"

Thank God.... Good riddance, and **** off. Worthless individual who doesn't deserve a penny from all that guaranteed money he's cashed in.

I also may drink Nate Allen's contract worth in beer tonight, so there's that.

sounds like you will probably end up having the same night cap reaction or early morning one or both that I have when I watch him play

:puke:

yes, that way they have take the weekend to think about what they're going to do and can go job hunting on monday

Ozzy rules!!

also gives you time to change the locks and hire security.

It's an unfortunate situation for Jordan. Got hooked on the high and it took over his life. Hope he makes something of himself. The surprising thing was the failed physical, because, he's had 2 years to recover and rehabilitate, but to no avail. I'm just glad it's finally over. Jeff Ireland really screwed the pooch in 2013. I'm still shaking my head over his screw up. I'm not sure I understand why I backed him for so long. After the draft in 2013, I realized he was over his head as a GM. Jordan is the biggest bust in franchise history.
