Scouting kinda questions

I was wondering if anyone know or knows where to find:

How often we use different defensive personnel packages, base vs nickel, vs dime, vs fewer than 3 dbs

If we are more of a zone or man team, more of a 1 safety high or 2 high safety team, and more of a press of off man team.

A scouting report on the 3 guys we want to use as starting safeties. I heard they are all strong safeties and we want them to play left and right safety. Has Jones every played free safety? What is he good at and what is he bad at? Same for Allen and Mcdonald. I heard one was a cover guy and the other was a run defense guy.

I believe in our scheme the safeties are interchangeable. I've seen Jones play deep and single high, as well as in the box and same goes for all the fill ins we've had next to him

Gase has said before that we play nickel over half the time, along with the rest of the league as it has become more of a passing league in general

I think we play best as a press cover 2 or cover three defense. The only thing really missing is an elite LB to roam the middle.

Ratios are "easy" to obtain...all 22 tape can be had

.but these guys that swear up and down that they know "what Miami runs" are full of sht. Theres a reason why staff is cagey with the press, posters on fin heaven(aside from a few) know sht

Do we run dime ever? And do we intentionally switch out our linebackers for packages or only for injuries? I know most teams have their 2 linebackers that play in the nickel basically play the whole game unless they go dime. I know I looked at Bears snap counts for a couple games years ago when PFF used to give out sub package snap counts and the Bears were great because they played the entire game in 4-3 or nickel so Urlacher and Briggs were in every snap and the slot nickel corner was in the same number of plays the 3rd linebacker was out.

I would think that specific LB pairings would be for a specific reason and have a desired outcome, but I'm not sure. As for going Dime yes I think we do but once again I don't think we have that elite linebacker to put out there on an island. We could certainly try to mask that with different coverages however.

I don't recall ever seeing any dime in 2016. We were a base and nickel defense team.

It looked to me more scheme driven than personnel driven.
