Someone needs to get fired after the Ajayi trade

Gase, Tannenbaum, Grier.. Basically whoever made this trade needs to be fired! We aren't ever going to be able to win by making terrible trades like this. The guy is still on his rookie contract, 24 years old, and was our best running back. Heck, we traded a 5th round for a backup linebacker. The trade doesn't make ANY sense.

It's called move on already geez. You'd think we traded Barry Sanders with no locker room issues.

Also mod can we move this thread too? Ajayi is NOT A DOLPHIN

If this is “the worst trade in franchise history” then you haven’t been following the team for very long.

We traded a good RB with health concerns for a 4th rounder. We have no OL and our entire offense is in the toilet. By the time our offense is fixed, Ajayi’s knees will be dust.

That’s nothing compared to trading a 2nd rounder for AJ Feeley, a 3rd rounder for Lamar Gordon, or even trading up from 12 to 3 to draft Dion Jordon

I never said it was "the worst". I said one of the worst. They traded a top 5-10 running back who is 24 years old for a 4th round pick. I do not know how anyone can justify that type of trade.

It's pretty easy to spot who the Miami Dolphins fans are and who the Particular Player I Happen to Like fans are.

I get being upset over the Ajayi trade, but the fact that threads like this are being made before Miami has even played its next game are baffling. At least wait until you see how bad our offense is without him before you flip out.

1. Issues with the coaches

2. Major concerns with his knees

3. He wasn’t really putting up top 5 production with us. In fact, if you take out the three 200 yard games, his numbers are rather average.

4. It’s a freakin RUNNINGBACK. Quality RBs can be found in the middle rounds

omg omg he scored a touchdown and broke a big play, the world is over as we knew it, how can the dolphins ever recover from this

So it's one 46 yard run untouched and 7 other carries for 31 yards. Ajayi's a good back, hate to see him go, but I'm convinced there were issues that the team wanted to get rid of.

It's the same old song and dance with this team. Wouldn't surprise me if Ajayi goes 1200 for a team like Philly. He wouldn't behind this garbage line so why even compare it?

He may not end up as prolific as Wes Welker but the same point is that Welker wouldn't have put up half the stats with us as he did at NE.

Team talent remains garbage. Same old song and dance. This WILL NOT CHANGE UNTIL THEY START DRAFTING WITH SUCCESS. And they just never do.

So when's the last time you saw the Dolphins open up a hole like that? Pretty sure he wasn't touched until the end of the play.

I'm pretty sure an opposing team could have nobody out there on defense and we still couldn't open a running lane that wide

Exactly. Tom Brady could have ran that to the house with those holes.
