Post-draft Concerns: One Burning Question For Each Afc Team

God I hate these completely SEO driven sports articles.

"Burning" questions. (disgusted grunt)
SEO and name recognition is the only card they have left, their business model isnt designed to compete anymore...

Edit: Not talking about the NFL but more the sports media in general...

If a tree shits in the woods and nobody's around to smell it, does it stink?

The writer is on target at least somewhat that regardless of the reasons this is Gases team now. His players his scheme and his excuses for losing last year. We can all argue the merit of Ryan Tannahill and while that does have merit right now if we loose this year with RT at QB more than 6 games then Gase is failing us. Off subject kind of but in the ball.park I would love to see a upgrade above all else and move on from Tannabum.

I'd agree. Gase and Tannehill need to produce results with this roster and I expect they will (playoffs being the minimum). If Thill doesn't, he's likely done in Miami. I don't think Gase would necessarily be done, but definitely on the hot seat.[/QUOTe now we are talking. I like this

Yes, but there were extenuating circumstance in regards to this team and their record last season and you know it. I'm not going to go into everything as this topic has been beaten to death, but what I will say is that some fans love to change HCs way to quickly for my taste. Gase needs time just like every HC in the league (preferably 5 years) to build his team and implement his system, this constant call for firing your HC because it's rough right now is silly. The Dolphins have been bad for a long time, finally we have a coach that has rebuilt the team by ridding themselves of high price underproductive players, and drafting well over the last couple of years to shore up holes on the offense and defense side of the ball. The grass isn't always greener on the other side, haven't we realized that yet? how many coaches do you know get 5 yr without winning???? Miami have been in same boat last 10 yr. 7 to 8 win a yr. every 8 yr make wildcard. yes you can sell ticket that great for owner to make money. we keep hiring same coach. with same result....do I have answer no....

This post was in response to 39 Wildman.

I don't know how many coaches get 5 years in the league without winning, but maybe more should. The constant recycling of coaches in Miami has been a disaster for this team over the last 2 decades and a large reason why has been this notion of winning now even when the team was nowhere near to being competitive. The Dolphins have needed a rebuilding effort for years now and finally we have it. Over the years, Miami has drafted poorly, spent money carelessly, used resources in wrong areas of the team and one of the biggest areas of concern....selecting dead end coaches for a few years before firing them. Are you suggesting to me that Miami should fire Gase after this year if the season is not a winning one? I have a real problem with that line of thinking and action.

If Miami misses the playoffs and get rid of Tannehill it would be doing him a favor. If that scenario plays out what every team gets Tannehill in 2019 would be adding a nice piece.

I don't think anyone would cry if Tannabum is gone.
