Just sucks that a SS (a real good one) who is less than stellar in coverage, is in the conversation as the best player on the team.

All you have to do is go back to 2016 when this team won 9 of the next 10 games without him (after losing 4 of 5 with him) to measure the importance of that type of SS is. It’s way down on the list in terms of importance. IAQ was wayyy more vital to the secondary that season as was Louis Delmas before him and my guess is Minkah will continue that trend going forward.

Hell it was huge when Nate Allen went down last year because we had nobody to fill that FS void. Reshad is great when he can play SS and go off script when required but he needs a decent FS next to him or he becomes average.

If Reshad went down I’d feel very comfortable with TJ McDonald stepping in with very little drop off.
 
This offense is ....undisciplined? Not focused.

Its not just the QB either, Gase was right about that.
 
Its only training camp. If they have struggles in preseason with penalt ies then that's different
 
THis is bad. Seeing the offense this sucky. After Sat's garbage fest too. So, they didn't take anything Gase said to heart after the scrimmage. Or, at least nothing meaningful enough to demo progress.
