One of the things that scares the hell out of you with the Patriots is their game planning.

You absolutely know they've already IDed a few of our weaknesses. I have no doubt that includes iso of our LBs, McDonald and/or Bobby McCain.

I fully expect iso of the speedy RB White, Burkehead on our LBs (See what Powell/Crowell were able to do)
I fully expect something to iso their TE or someone like McDonald (Gronk on any of our S is an automatic win)
I fully expect Gordan matched-up of Bobby McCain.(They are going to stay away from X and force McCain to play. I love McCain but he absolutely can be exploited)

The Patriots have always been brilliant at things like that.

I hope the Dolphins are prepared because you know it's coming!!!

The best predictor of future behavior is past conduct. The Pats live by this credo. The Dolphins will take their lumps next weekend on the road against a desperate NE team, then pray to split with the Bengals and Bears. The Pats are getting healthy while the Dolphins are dropping like flies. It doesn’t derail the season if they go 1-2 the next 3 weeks, but tempers current expectations of AFC East glory. Plus, Miami will be playing with street free agents on defense after Thanksgiving if the injuries keep up (see 2016 when they barely held on) and that is my biggest worry. I’m an accomplished pessimist, but I’m usually right. But gosh I hope I’m wrong.

Past times always warrants skepticism; however, the Patriots are not the same team.. Any body who watched the game last night to its entirely will see. Yes Fins are banged up and Brady has no one to throw to.. Pats defense was exposed and that's all Patricia.. I for one feel this the best shot we have had in a decade to beat Pats at home..

The Patriots aren’t a scary team. We’re clearly the tougher team. If we can play well, hitting on all cylinders, there’s no reason we can’t blow them out! We’re more talented than the lions and the lions dismantled them

You are usually right huh? Prove it.

Have some goddamn faith. The Pats are not that good this year and Miami has weapons that they cannot match up with. Gase will figure them out soon enough and get the win.

Getting so sick and tired of scared wimpy fans. **** the Pats.

I won't start really feeling like this team has turned a corner until it beats the champ in their own house. however, father time is relentless, and lack of talent/age can hit any team. maybe the patriots have poisoned the well of motivation by being the No Fun Team for too long.

oddly enough there linebackers are very exploitable in the passing game with ISO as well. I would run Drake and Wilson out of the backfield towards there linebackers all night long.

Absolutely, So riddle me this. Why haven't we seen Drake iso on some of the LBs we've played so far?

I'm sure you'll admit there are very few LBs in the entire league that can matchup on the boundary against Drake. It's an easy big play, if not TD.

I'll tell you why. Because Gase for all his offensive expertise STILL hasn't played "I'm going to strategize an offensive package/player against a particular weakness"

He just doesn't game plan like that. He calls just call plays.

Amongst other things, as you've pointed out, we should be able to feast on their slower LBs with isolation type plays. But likely we won't because we don't strategize that way.

I get it but we should never underestimate any team. Especially the Patriots as long as they have Brady and Belichick.

I thought that was common knowledge.

There's a big difference between scared wimpy fans and honest assessment of your team and their potential weakness.

An honest assessment says we can be exploited in the ways I've mentioned in my original post.

It's already been proven this season and previous seasons. That's just a fact!

What's also a fact is the Patriots for years have been masters at exploiting other teams weaknesses.

This is the first time in years I’ve felt confident in this team and truly believe we can beat them, so I’m going out on a ledge! And will likely jump if they lose! Lol.

Gase seems to like to spread out east to west and than attack the seams once things are spread out. I think he likes to put the quicker small receivers in space is the idea. New England will be a different defense if they get Chung and Flowers back but are still vulnerable. Drake should be able to run against their DTs that's like to play a lot of 2 gap and Hightower doesnt look the same post injury.

I could see this being Gesickis break out game.

Take out Tom Brady and New England may have the worst roster in the league. There receivers get zero separation on offense and the defense is just slow. They are hoping we play zone against them...*hint, we suck at zone). Play them man on man and see if there skill players can beat ours.
