Patriots Place Rex Burkhead, Ja'whaun Bentley On Ir

Lmao, I just looked at a Pats forum and it’s full meltdown there. They all are freaking out and calling their team soft. I love it![/QUOTE I wonder how much of their "fans" will disappear once the teams success ends. Not saying that is now. Just curious. They're the picture of spoiled and entitled.

I'm wondering if Josh Gordon will be active. I haven't seen anything about his status but did read where Brady mentioned his health (hamstring I assume) with regards to how fast Josh can absorb the playbook.

Honestly though, how tough can it be to hear “Run a post” or “Run a flag” ... For now, they just need a threat to take the top off.

any advantage we can get over them, we'll take. but if the Patriots have proven anything over the years, it's that Brady can win with different pieces around him. Everyone is playing up the Edleman loss...we'll they made it to the Super Bowl without him last year so they don't need him to be a good team.

They also had Cooks, Amendola, and Butler. This isn't the same Patriots team of old. I just hope fans won't start losing faith if we drop this one. They're at home after two straight road clunkers. If I had a gun to my head I'd take NE due to the urgency factor for this Sunday. But a Fins win definitely wouldn't stun me whatsoever.

In the long run of the season, I like our odds of taking this division. The better question is how far off we are from being a SB contender. To me more work needs to be done to accomplish that task.

Just had a look and you aren't wrong! You'd think with all the times they've been written off the past few years after a bad couple of games that they'd be able to handle a bit of adversity.

I think the best post I've seen so far is a suggestion that BB is making the team terrible so Brady retires. That way he can prove he can win without him.

Evidently they were pretty high on that rookie lbs play

The Dolphins met with him at the Senior Bowl.

-Ja'Whaun Bentley, ILB, Purdue (SR)

Thick-framed inside linebacker with a taste for contact. Bentley's physical approach and ability to attack and defeat blockers make him an ideal candidate as a run-down thumper along the inside. However, Bentley has athletic limitations that hinder his effectiveness as an NFL finisher and he's ill-suited to handle coverage duties against the pass. Bentley lacks ideal speed and reaction time, but his size and toughness could make him a solid backup inside linebacker who could find reps down the line.

I would love for them to finish with a losing record this year. That would make Brady retire lol

Armando says Reshad Jones isn’t a sure thing to play. So I hope this isn’t a lingering issue that turns into some IR bombshell.

Patriots only activated 3 WRs Monday night

So I’m sure they trying to rush Gordon. But I bet he gets snaps about at the clip dvp did Sunday if he goes which is just specific packages.

Miami needs to up the ante on dvps usage this week

That’s a complex ask of the WRs offense in New England. 2 weeks is quite the fast pace to be ready to contribute

i think gordon will be activated and see limited action

but we better make sure to stack him when he's in because he won't just be in there for a decoy

james white and sony michel are more than capable out of the backfield

I hear ya. Shoot, I'd take a playoff berth this year. We have a lot to build off, the Pats are toast once Brady/Belichick are gone. I think McDaniels will take over and do a nice job, but a completely different machine at that point. I like the way the future is looking
