If we were playing the games maybe, but we are merely discussing the games. Nothing you or I say will change the outcome, and if you believe it does you are more delusional than I am pretending to be trying to prevent us from being jinxed.
 
The Dolphins should win this game. On paper, I'm wondering how the Patriots will be able to scheme their defense vs so much speed. I have a feeling it'll be a blowout if the Dolphins win because of the speed. On the other hand, the Patriots have been the 600 pound gorilla for almost two decades. I'm excited. Can't wait till Sunday.

Trust me I know it is hard to contain the excitement of this team's success. I hate to say it but I have found myself just a little happier than I usually am, and I think it partly has to do with the Dolphins winning (sad I know).

We have all mostly grown less cautiously optimistic, as each week has gone by with each win. But now we have reached the pinnacle of the hype, our real test is in front of us, and all of you guys are saying we are going to ace it. Well guess what? The test is a lot harder than the quizzes we have just taken.

For this reason, I must tell you that this train might be coming to a halt, and its because our biggest roadblock is up ahead. This is a MUST WIN game for the Patriots, they have their backs to the wall, and they are going to come out on fire.

Do I think we can win this weekend? Most certainly. Do I think we are going to win? I think the chances are highly improbable. A win in Foxboro this weekend, something that rarely happens, would mark a change in Dolphin culture, and may be the beginning of the demise of the Patriots as AFC east kings.

The Patriots better days are clearly behind them. They have a lot of deficiencies across both sides of the ball that are glaring. Tom and Gronk can only do so much, and Tom hasn’t even looked like himself. Bellichick can only turn the s-salad into chicken salad if he’s got the guys that can do it, and he doesn’t. Our D is legit and we have had enough season to get guys playing together, buying in, and knowing what to do in our system. I expect the proud team to go down swinging and give it their best effort at home, but you can only be as good as the guys you have. I don’t think they are the better team at this point and are going to come up short. They will be the talk of the league next week, not the 4-0 Miami Dolphins. But I’ll take it.
 
This was the game most likely for us to lose on the schedule. If we do, we are right where we were expected to be if we played well in the other games.

We could play our absolute best and still lose (road, refs, cheat)

If we win it is ALL gravy, though. All the way. Would be HUGE.
 
Not trying to jynx them but before the season started, my expectations were that we would win the first 3 games AND have the lead at halftime in Foxboro but come up short in the second half. I've been right so far.

That would still be a successful first quarter of the season. They've never even played a meaningful, competitive game in New England with Brady. Even when they've had the lead at halftime, they've still gotten blown out. A competitive 4th quarter would still be a step in the right direction. It does feel like a winnable game however.
 
I'm hoping for another "Wildcat" game. That is one of my favorite Dolphins games ever.
Brady will join Vontae Davis in retirement at halftime. The crowd will be heading for the parking lot before the end of the third quarter.
The NFL network will mention the Dolphins by name several times in the week that follows.
 
Who gives a ****? we are 3-0 and going into an underdog game with a shot at victory. We either get an epic win that will be remembered for years or still massively surpass everyone's expectations by being 3-1 after 4 games - we have nothing to lose.

Anyway its not FH members who are playing on Sunday, as long as they are focused we will be fine.
 
Listen, the Patriots just got throttled by the Lions. The Lions! I watched the Jets destroy the Lions, and now the Lions destroy the Pats. Make of that what you will, but Patricia’s game plan was simple, double Gronk and stop the run defense, and run the ball with a solid intermediate passing game. Not only was this successful, but the game was absolutely dominated by Detroit. A better team may well have doubled the score on NE while holding them under a touchdown. Tom Brady and B.B. are not unified at all. Brady consistently looked defeated the entire game.

Miami is faster than Detroit and Frank Gore is no joke. Given even a little time and RT can make you pay. We can go hurry up now as well. Unlike Stafford, RT can run as well. I know NE will have Josh Gordon this week, but how connected will they really be? Will Brady trust him?

I stand by my prediction. Miami wins this game.

I would bet that Gase and Burke have been watching what Detroit did nonstop. There is a lot more pressure on the Patriots right now. This is a must win game for them and even then, we will still be first in the East. But, this is the chance to kill their morale. We need to dominate them in their home.

If the Pats lose Sunday, I can see them going 7-9 this year and that would be so beautiful!
 
Clearly the pats look like brady and BB are not on the same page. It looks like their time is ending, but also we know that if they get on a winning streak, things will change. Let's make sure their winning streak doesn't happen this week.

No. Its winning games you should win. This week they will be tested, the great demise in NE isn't feasible until it is realized.
