If We Beat The Bengals....

With half the team hurt. Will the mob agree to put down the torches and give Gase half the season before passing judgement? Seems like a fair peace offering? We are 3-1 and in first place.

Well I haven’t been accepted into the mob as of yet but if Miami wins 1 of the next two I’ll forgive the flogging in Foxboro. Win them both and I’ll defend Gase and Tanny all season long with complete blind loyalty.

That's a big IF at this point. I will give Gase props if the team comes out ready to play and actually plays to win instead of playing not to lose.

The bengals dline is a revolving door of pass rushers and tyler boyd is gonna pick whoever plays opposite corner apart. I’ll be surprised w/ a W

You people are delusional if you think this game comes down to what team's QB is better. Our offensive line is in shambles, our defensive line is hindered, and our secondary is limited. This game will not come down to QB play because Tanny is going to be playing from his ass most of the game.

If the Bengals beat us decisively like the Patriots did, which is a possibility, this team is showing what it will give most of the remaining season. People underestimate the losses of Sitton and Kilgore. We just went from having an improved offensive line, to having an offensive line worse than last year's. This o-line might be worse or on par with the Dallas Thomas and Billy turner oline... that is very bad.... let us hope I am wrong.

Nope, gonna get destroyed by the Bungles. Will have a chance at home against Chicago because the offense can try to operate with tempo, but even there I expect a loss.

That being said I'm not holding any torches so I can't answer the original question.

I think the Bengals are going to beat us. But ... if we lose and are competitive, that's one thing. If it's another beatdown, that says something very different.

I need to see Gase cop the hell on with his early play calling and get this offense going early. If it's another slow start, he really, really needs to give up the play calling. I also need to see more discipline again with regard to penalties.

And some running game. Some actual running game. Not calling runs on 1st and 20 so he can say he has a balanced attack.

Put it this way.

I expected a loss to the Patriots in Foxboro. And I didn't expect it to be close. I picked Miami to lose by multiple scores. I had been expecting that loss since before the season began, even with my expectation that they begin 3-0.

I am, and have been since before the season began, expecting the Dolphins to lose to the Bengals. And I think THAT game may not be very close, either.

So before the season started, my expectation were:

1. To beat the Titans comfortably
2. To squeak a win against the Jets on the road
3. To beat the Raiders comfortably
4. To lose to the Patriots comfortably or in a blowout
5. To lose to the Bengals comfortably or maybe even in a blowout

So let's suppose the Dolphins do win this game against Cincinnati, on the road, against a really good team.

That will be the first time the Dolphins have surprised my expectations, and it will be an UPSIDE surprise.

So yeah, I would get more bullish on them than I have been.

Seems Cincy has a weak O-line, right side has marginal players and LT has given up a ton of pressures. Supposedly Dalton is handling it better than usual as it's been pegged as his weakness. Wake and Quinn will need to take advantage. I guess they also suck at getting off the field on 3rd downs, sounds familiar?

Listening to the Locked on Cincy guy. Their secondary is playing terrible and they haven't gotten a turnover in 2 weeks. There DLINE is talented but they haven't been getting as much pressure as expected. Burfict is coming back but has had weight issues in the past, what kind of shape is he in?

No way we are winning this game unless Gase cuts it loose and proves he actually trusts TH. This conservative bullshit is going to get us nowhere.

Dalton has learned when things go off script be it either his primary or he gets immediate pressure to drop his head and get north south. Helps limit the negative yardage plays.

Same thing Case Keenum has learned. Immediate pressure or don’t like your first read at times get north south.

But he’s gonna like his first read provided it’s tyler Boyd a lot sunday. They can win this game making two reads all game long. Aj green and Tyler Boyd

Boyd might be the best #2 wr in football right now.

Anxiously awaiting the return of the XFL to put the NFL in its place.

This will be one of the higher profile games of the week as it pits two division leaders. We tend to have close games against the Bengals, like Cam Wake's walk-off safety. One of the most dramatic and dominating close game endings I've ever seen. Yeah, let's have more of that please.

I'm looking for breakout games for rookies Fitzpatrick and Gesicki, with big games also from Quinn, Wake, Kiko and X. We are not going to Stop them from scoring, but our D will generate takeaways and our offense will come up with some big plays.

I'm predicting a 30-27 win in the Jungle.

OK naysayers, call your shot. Score predictions please.
