Start Brock Osweiller

It’s amazing what can happen and who can look good when you don’t abandon the run and your line keeps your jersey clean isn’t it?

Does anyone have any faith we will see this same line next weekend?

But why was that ? Why did the line play so much better today ? Anything to do with a QB who knew when to throw it away, felt when the pressure was coming, making constant adjustments at the line and even extended plays a few times today. Don't get me wrong the line were excellent but Tannehill makes lines look a lot worse than they are sometimes with his deer in the headlights impression.

So what your saying is that Tannehill made last weeks line appear worse than they were? Come on man...

Does anyone truthfully think that if the line played this well today last week in Cincy we would have lost? Do you think if Tannehill was in today behind this line that the game would have changed in any way?

Tannehill when healthy is still the better QB. I’m not going off of one game to say Brock is the savior just the same as you wouldnt have changed your mind on Tannehill if he came in today and gave the exact same performance.

If he did all the credit would be going to the defense, the line, and the run game. Seen it too many times before.

Meh, he played well but nothing worth making a snap judgement over. Good to know we have a decent backup. I say give RT another game or 2. Gase almost blew it for Osweiler again today too, except for a freak catch.

While he wouldn't say because of the delay of game, I think he had a good flow of the tempo of the game at the end and his pocket presence is pretty good.

IDK what is going on to be honest. I really like Tannehill but I like the Dolphins more. We have seen the offensive line block well for RT also so it is hard to make a firm determination that Brock's awareness is such that it uplifts the offensive line play. I will say that Brock's ability to throw the football away is something I wish Tannehill would do more often.

Tannehill can absolutely take notes on how to throw the ball away from Osweiler. That being said, Osweiler absolutely, positively had a cleaner pocket than Tanny had the last two games. The human standing in the pocket had nothing to do with that.

Osweiler played well enough to win today (and that pick on the throw to DVP was a bad throw, but DVP did him no favors. None. It was obnoxious how little of an effort he made on it.)

Tannehill clearly has a better arm than Osweiler when his shoulder is right. If healthy, Tannehill gives them a better chance to win.

All of this being said, if Tannehill doesn't come back and play like he did toward the end of 2016, I'm all about drafting a QB in the first two rounds in April.
