You mean subjectively breaking down the film to favor your opinion?
I don't think you have watched the game today.
No. I mean critically analyzing the QBs passing performance.

No, the OL hasn't played well enough to have a running game anything like what we had today for any game the whole year. In previous games most of our running yards came in chunk plays and had nothing like the consistency we had today. You can have your opinion but it is pretty ridiculous to say that the QB play made the running game better - especially when we didn't even try to stretch the field until the 2nd quarter. The o line played fine against Tennessee. They played fine for 3 quarters against the Bengals. They played decent against the Jets.
But no, it's just a total coincidence. Seven years of mediocre play by Tanny wasn't his fault, and magically the game he is out everyone else around him finally plays better. Amazing coincidence. Or maybe the QB elevates people around him...
Cherry picking?
I’d take you more seriously if you didn’t have a Tannehill picture.

I think you are having a short memory. Gore was absolutely tearing the Bengals up for three quarters.
I don’t understand why you’re getting so defensive. Osweiler played well and helped with the win. Some of his throws may not have been pretty but he looked more comfortable and in command of that offense better than Tannehill did at times. Sorry to piss in your Cheerios and not prop up your boy Tannehill but it’s the truth. If not for those shovel passes, Tannehills stats would be bottom 5 right now as well.Cherry picking what? Want me to go into his underthrows for interceptions as well? How about the 2 passes that flew all of 10 yards combined in the air to Wilson that he broke free on? I mean come on man. He played the same game everyone bitches at Tannehill for playing with the exception that the bubble screens finally worked on a couple plays and a few players broke free.
He looked good today for 2 reasons. The line gave him time to throw and the run game was never abandoned.
Then Tunsil went out, we abandoned the run, and got into 3rd and long every opportunity possible.
I mean literally everything can damn near be traced back to Tunsil going out. It changed everything...
Agreed. So what's the excuse for only mustering a pathetic 10 pts against a bad defense in those three quarters ?
I can’t answer that without you claiming excuse so what’s the point? Anything, even completely and undoubtably accepted by everyone, is now considered an excuse.
The one difference we saw today is that Osweiler hit most of his reveivers in stride. I don't care if a ball travels 50 yards in the air or 5 yards and is being run for 45. Wilson could not have had his 75 TD reception if Osweiler does not hit him in stride. The QBs job is to throw a pass to a freceiver and give him a chance to make a play.Cherry picking what? There is no answer for it. Everything was going great and that's still all he could muster. That's been the story for 7 years.
Youre spot on, i noticed the catch and runs as well. The eye test showed me the offense had pep that it doesn't have with Tannehill. I know Brock will blow but now I realize we need a new qb that's not on the roster. Today, we had someone who could make a play and made plays when necessary, moved the ball, and showed life. He moved within the pocket well and threw the ball away when needed to negate neg plays. The one difference we saw today is that Osweiler hit most of his reveivers in stride. On the other side if Wilson does not drop a perfectly thrown pass (1st drive) by Osweiler we may go on and score on that drive. Then again we may not. So much for cherry picking.
I read a few of your posts today and to be honest I pity you. We all know that Tannehill is the starter going forward. But you just cannot stand that we win with another QB. You did the same when Moore replaced Tannehill. Instead of being happy that we won with our backup QB you do nothing but whine.
You mentioned quite often the bounced ball. You know what Osweiler said in his interview? He said that on that play the football gods were looking down on us and he gave a boatload of credit to Stills for not giving up on that play. And he is right. More often than not we lose out on plays like that. But instead of being happy about it you are trying to make a case against Osweiler and for Tannehill.
How about you complement him on the 2 point conversion? He had to go down to his 4th option (4th!!!!) because the first 3 were either covered or fell down.
Osweiler did many things better today than Tannehill but he also made a few goofy ones which Tannehill may not. They are different QBs. Totally different.
But nobody will take Ryan away from you. He will be the starter when healthy just like he was when Moore was here.
