How Things Change In A Span Of 3 Days....

The truth is tho, maybe I watch to much NCIS, and don't believe in coincidences. Is it a coincidence the game Ryan Tannehill does not play the offense clicks?

Not much has changed in my perspective. While it is always great to,win on Sunday my confidence in this team going far into the playoffs remains low. This team and this QB has not proved it can step up in the big games. If we end up,facing the Pats, the Chiefs, the Ravens, heck even the Steelers in a do, or die game we wil end up getting whooped and embarrassed like we usually do.

Unfortunately this is true.

RT may have been playing with an injured shoulder for some time.

I remember that nice TD pass he threw a few games back his motion was odd.

He threw it like a dart thrower. I'm not a big RT fan but maybe his poor play has been due to an undisclosed injury. ;)

Winning apparently does away with all that here.....what everyone is forgetting is, by all rights, we should have lost the game due to the Drake fumble (and Gase still shows his idiocy by calling or allowing that play to be run from the shotgun - even if he didn't fumble he probably was going to be tackled short). But we got lucky with the Bears missing the FG and pulled out a win.

Don't get me wrong...I'm happy with the win and I think the team did a great job in this game to pull it out (and the O Line deserves some kind of award for allowing NO sacks) but those saying Gase "finds ways to win" are laughable. If that's true (which I disagree with...I think we won in spite of him) then the opposite is also very true and has been proven many times....he finds ways to lose.

  1. Sitting at 3-2, all week we read threads about getting rid of Adam Gase and Ryan Tannehill
  2. Sunday morning, news break about Tannehill missing the game, Fire Gase sentiment intensifies as people complain about a lack of any competent backup QB, threads pop up about tanking the season because now, for sure, Fins are losing that game without Tannehill.
  3. Monday morning, sitting at 4-2, Fire Gase is put to rest, while threads are no popping up about benching Tannehill and all kinds of conspiracy theories. Now, evidently Tannehill would have lost that game, you know because, he's only like 8-1 at home with Gase with a 100.5 rating in 2016 and a 121 rating in 2018...
I said in chat before the game that I could definitely see us win that game and that FH would provide us with priceless entertainment throughout the week... And boy have some of you not disappointed and its only monday.... Keep it up!

Still, I think there are alot of useless debates going on while the team is doing fine... Sure it's not perfect but overall, we're pretty close to best case scenario right now sitting at 4-2 , tied for 1st in AFC east.

Enjoy the Win and the record! Fins up!

Humans are emotional animals and will react accordingly.

It's Jay Cutler, now Brockstantinople
Now it's Tannehill, now Brockstantinople, been a long time gone...

Even Dan Marino, was once David Woodley, I don't know why they changed it today, people just liked it better that way...

Now it's David Fales, now Brockstantinople, now it's Bryce Petty, now Brockstantinople, been a long time gone,..We do whatever we think works, it's nobody's comments but the jerks...

Osweiler had a career game. It doesn't change what he is. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. He will never lead us to a Super Bowl championship.

Tannehill didn't play in this game. It's useless to speculate as to what he might have done in the game. It doesn't change what he is. He also will never lead us to a Super Bowl championship.

Everyone needs to calm down and enjoy the fact that we had an improbable win in a very enjoyable game.
