For Those Looking To Dump Gase, Who You Want Instead?

Miami is 4-3 lol.

The head coach isn't terrible. 90% of the NFL is babrely above .500. Everyone needs to relax.

We might as welll be under .500..... This is not even about records. This is a defense that almost allowed 1000yds in 2 weeks. The Lions came into this game with no running game and this RB is heading to the pro-bowl. No fans can be happy with the product they see on the field right now.

I like him in 2016 but I didn't like him in 2017 but I like him in 2018... We need find a good qb for him

He should stay at least 1-2 more years.

Hes had the worst situation at QB making the playoffs as a rookie HC then right before pre season the starting QB injured for the year.

Now he has to deal with injuries again at QB

Grasping at straws here.....but if no one minds old school hard azz

How about Brian Billeck or Cowher power!

Gase needs to stop settling on offensive linemen. The guys we have can't run block. He needs to make OL a major priority this off-season and get guys in here who can open up some holes. Tannehill and our offense will be much more productive.

The problem has been his QB evaluation. He chose Tannehill and didn't push the FO to pursue another option this offseason. He thought Jay Cutler was worth 10 million dollars more than we would have gotten out of Matt Moore. Should have just tanked last season and saved that money for cap relief roll over this season

I have to ask, what team in the NFL could compete with the unreal amount of injuries the Dolphins have taken? This season, other seasons?

Most of their starting offense is injured
.

Both coaches should be questioned yes, but also all of their key players dropping like flies is also crippling their ability to do anything. That's conditioning, and scouting players, rookies and older veterans who are suspect to injury or have a history of injury.

How many blown seasons have we had, because most of our play-makers are injured?

Or we’d stick with Tannehill and Gase for 10 years.

No please no!!!! I know Gase is very young but so did the Harbaughs and they were very promising, this clown has no clue on gameplaning, thats why we are the worst team in the entire NFL on the first drive of the game. He always gets ultraconservative in game management and finally he releases and trades players based on Attitude not on talent. Instead of trying to get the best of them he trades or releases them for not agreeing on everything he does. We released Phillips, traded Ayaji and Landry, and the Parker situation is similar. But why we dont fire Burke ?? Because it was his choice. Gase Is stuborn and wont accept a big mistake.
On the other issue I just want to see if Brock continues his solid playing and gets better. Having him for peanuts until we find the long term solution Is a no brainer.
If we get rid off Tanny next year and hire a new defensive coordinator, we can alocatte savings and draft resources to the defense. Like everyone correctly detected, Minkah at Safety, TJ and Jones are clones with superb run support but no range. Jones of Course the best of them. We must find a CB2 and put McCain in the slot. LBs may be learning but why we dont get creative and put TJ on a TE instead of a LB Is beyond me. We need to sign Langford and bench McMillan if he does not improve and get consistent enough. The wide 9 Is a wide mistake......

I mean we signed Gase as an offensive guru, genius, QB whisperer. And we have been bottom 5 in all offensive stats since he’s been here. What the ****. Our offense has never scared anybody since he’s been here. That’s on him.
The Pats have the defensive genius in Bill B., yet many years, their defense is what held them back. The biggest misconception about hiring a coach is, its mainly about the side of the ball he comes from. Its not. Its about the culture. Its about the practices. The preparation. The adjustability. The ability to handle the locker room. The ability to identify the right players, etc. A lot more than, "well hes an offensive guy and our offense sucks soooo"

Before I give up on Gase, I want him to give up calling plays. If he doesn't, I give up on Gase as HC.
I think he would be better suited to only have play calling duties and give the head coaching job to someone else. I just don't think team manager is his forte.

I’m going to make a bold claim and say if not let go by end of season (unlikely) he will resign (likelier). Not resigned as in a new contract.
