Hope That Security Lady Is Okay!

That was an ugly hit she took from Stills. She clearly didn't see it coming and then slammed her head in to the wall. Hope she is ok.

We really need to fix that wall. Not sure what genius came up with that being a good idea.

No reason to put people in danger like that there. They could just as easily stand against the wall facing the action.

Huh? She's a security guard! Her job is to scan the section of crowd she's assigned to and make sure things are safe. Not to watch the game

That's the play Stills got hurt on too. Too much congestion in the endzone areas. You don't need 100 camera people on the field, and honestly I know security guards need to be watching the stands, but when there is a play right in front of them, they need to be able to have their heads on a swivel. She had no clue he was coming right at her.

I don't know if getting run over is part of her security guard duties...Perhaps there is a happy middle ground where she could watch the crowd and not get thrown into the wall. Just seems risky to stand so close to the field and not face the action.

Hope she recovers soon! Did she keep the ball Kenny put on her lap?

Thats my mom, she has bruised ribs and a broken elbow.

Don't know if you are serious or not....but if so, I hope she is feeling better soon. They did a slow motion replay and that lady took an pretty bad shot and then hit her head into the wall.

They should make better endzone boundary policies for non player personnel in stadiums.

This. Having been brought up in the world of the round ball, I am always amazed at why you really need all those people on the field. Really no reason for it, everyone who is not part of either playing personnel or coaching/medical staff have no need to be there.

Someone should have seen the risks of having people facing away from the action. Either put them behind a barrier (which could be dangerous to the players), put them in some sort of protection (like the refs vests) or make sure the only people on the field at risk to being hit by the players either can get out of the way or can withstand a hit (not belittling her at all).

I wish her a quick recovery.

edit... now that i think about it. I dont know how anyone not in full pads could take a hit like that...

It was a violent hit. I don’t think the NFL wanted to show it too much. Bad look. I really can’t believe people were faulting the woman doing her job. There was no need to make fun of her. Hope she’s ok.
