They Don’t Possibly Expect Us To Play On This Field Tomorrow Do They?

Enough's enough with this crap.....turf patching, grow lights, etc. While I love the old school-ness of playing on real grass Miami isn't the place for it, esp. with multiple games being played on it, the chance for torrential downpours, etc.

Time to go with Field Turf and be done with it.

I say: Plant stuff. Give it proper time to take root. And have proper drainage.

I don't think seed will do any better in that heat/rain/usage...in fact it might be worse. With sod at least they can replace sections of it that get damaged....with seed you need at least a month of no one on it (impossible during the season) for it to come up fully and even then, it won't hold up week after week.

I was there. Steelers fans were great to me even though i was in a Dolphins jersey. Reason? The Dolphins were absolutely terrible at the time

I was there as well. Game was delayed due to lightning. Fans were ok as they typically are. If the nfl let players on that field- they will let them play on anything.

They just need to put a retractable roof in that stadium once and for all. Keep it open when it's hot but close it when it's raining like that. More players will get hurt.

The only viable option is field turf and they wo t do that because of the heat. Because they want to have concerts there. Have soccer games there. Have college games there. Have tennis there. Have drone racing. Have monster trucks. Have anything you can think of. The field is always going to be an issue. Especially when you are replacing it the week of games...the week with multiple games. It is ridiculous.

To late to do anything now. On the bright side it should slow up their running backs.

Probably just get to the stadium and the NFL will call the field conditions unsafe to play on...lol.

Jets and Dolphins have the bye week on November 18th, so obviously the game could be moved until then. Wait and see, I guess.

Not only did it drain poorly. The stench the Hurricanes left on the field was atrocious. I hope it’s gone before Miami steps on the field.

How does Green Bay handle all the usage at Lambeau? What college and high school teams play there again?

Oh yeah.
