Tunsil / James Injuries

I hate to change the subject. but, they only showed a short replay and it sure didn't look like holding on Larsen on that play
Yeah I thought it was a pretty iffy play.

Meanwhile, our DEs are routinely being mauled in every which way and we never get a call. You know, those drive killing holding calls we've been prone to so long

From my recollection, I thought it was a weak call. He got his arm out and was at the point of attack which probably drew attention

So no bad injuries or im ok then ny friday i I R

It’s one of the most bizarre things in sports. I’ve never seen anyone get less calls than Wake. Ever! Now Quinn is getting held also.

Looks like Tunsil and James are going to be ok. Hope so. That one play that sterrup got beat for a sack was a pathetic display of effort. Rather have another player at a different position play tackle. At least they would have given effort. I thought Sam young was bad, but sterrup is worse. It was like he didn’t want to touch the defensive end rushing. Should be cut today based on that play.

All the people who get on James' case clearly don't remember what it was like to have bad tackle play.

I still wake up screaming "Look Out" in tears when I dream of some of the horrid RT play we had before James. There were plays when I wanted the RT to just lay down at the feet of the DE as there was at least a chance that the DE would trip over him on the way to the easy sack of the QB...kinda like what we've had when James or Tunsil go out this year...

That was such a weird fight to have over the offseason. I just wish they had re-signed him while he would still come relatively cheap. He won’t be cheap now (and they better pay it).

T-bum is the ****ing worst.

The worst part was Sterup's reaction after Osweiler went down/whistle blew. He shrugged his shoulders/arms, like, "F-this, who cares, what do you expect me to do."

Cheap? He wanted more than 11mill a year which is not cheap for a RT

Where did you see that?

Well, if true, it's going to take at least that to keep him, and I'm totally okay with that. The fact that it will anger the cap enthusiasts on here only makes me like it more.

And that would make him the third highest paid RT, barring any other RTs signing a new contract. I'm fine with that, especially given the fact that he'll be pushed down that list the following year, and I say that with absolute certainty (La'el Collins, Bulaga, Ifedi, and Conklin all due new contracts, with at least two of them sure to get more than whatever James gets). Or we can sign one of the awesome FAs that will be available, like Seantrel Henderson, Cedric Ogbuehi, or...Billy Turner.
