Ryan Tannehill Making Progress; Dolphins Don't Rule Out Return Vs. Colts

Particularly missing Wilson, Grant, DVP.

While I don't disagree completely, they are sorely needed for sure, I am more of the next man up mentality at the WR position. There are receivers throughout the league just waiting on that shot, not Dolphins specific, just more of the position specific.

A missing RB or Center is devastating, but WR is based off performance of both receiver and QB.v one needs the other and both need to be on point. Just my opinion on it.

"But to me, he looks like he once looked like"

Bit of a Hue Jackson-esque quote there

He'll play, he knows his career is on the line right now, he'll lie to the coaches if he has to. It's not a bad situation for him to come back into, Indy are beatable, it's a dome not the ridiculous Green Bay type weather and two weeks for the Tackles to be fit to go, no one expects much of the dolphins on the road so in a no lose situation, if we get beat it's expected , he wins, he's a hero, sign him up for another 7 years !

He starts this weekend and we finish 5-1 with the loss at either Colts or Vikings. Call it homerism as much as you want, but what’s the point of being a fan other than cheering your team on and hoping for the best???
I like your thinking and optimism. Yet I need to temper it based on how many injuries this team has. Teams try to peak the last 4-6 weeks and make the playoff push. Miami if healthy could’ve done that but I just don’t see it with the scraps left. I’d love to be wrong however.

Possible side effects may include:

Disillusionment: leading to fan withdrawal

Pie in the sky fantasy: leading to a depression based on the inevitable nag of reality

Blind faith: adherence to doctrines and/or beliefs that are removed from reality

Cult fellowship: leading to a Jonestown or Waco type calamity

:)

I could go on -- but...

Good luck with that!

For what it's worth, I read a report today that DVP may also be available this weekend. With the Colts playing so well, I'm not sure we win with both Tannehill and Parker back, but it would be nice to see them both on the field.

Tannehill might play but who is he going to throw to? Who do we have left at WR that is healthy? Stills and Amendola......maybe we'll actually get Gesicki involved?

At a minimum we’ve got 6 more games to watch the Phins play this season, I’m gonna make the best of it...disillusioned or not

If I don't see O'Leary in the play designs I'm gonna lose my it.
