A Cool Thanksgiving Memory

I remember the Tgiving snow game partying on a boat in the Ventura Keys. Should say i remember most of that game. My fondest memory of Tgiving was Griese throwing for 6 TDs vs the Cardinals in 1977. I was 11

I remember. He could have had 7 but be elected to handoff for the last TD even though his teammates wanted him to go for the record. Later he admitted that it would have felt selfish. Imagine Brady in that situation that prick? The video sets you up to think the guy never threw the ball. He led the league in passing in ‘77 by the way.

First off Happy Thanksgiving To Dolphins nation! You guys remember where you were when the Dolphins beat the Cowboys on Thanksgiving back in 1993? The Leon Lett fumble game I call it. I hope you guys have a good Holiday.
That game had it all. High drama. Snow. Shula outcoaching Johnson. Dallas returned a punt for TD, Byars 70 yard TD run dragging the dback the last 5 yards, Cox picking off Aikman, Steve DeBerg fresh out of retirement leading the final drive that culminated in the infamous blocked FG and subsequent Dallas Lett-down. My entire family (relatives the whole 9 yards) were huddled around the TV - most only casual fans - hooting and hollering on that final drive. It was a magical game.

Ahh, the 90s. They used to make national headlines that were actually about the game instead of some kind of off field embarrassment. There wasn't talk of if they can make the playoffs. The general discussion was if they'd win the division and what the seeding would be.

I’ll never forget it, I was 14 years old, and I was watching the game in my aunt’s basement in Quakertown, PA. I nearly put a hole in her ceiling with my head jumping off the couch with excitement and elated disbelief at what I had just witnessed when Stoyanovich kicked the winning FG lol.

My wife’s family found out on that day how nuts I was, father in law wanted me go to grandads nursing home with three minutes left in the game....gtfoh...I stood my ground. I also remember beating Dallas in 73 on turkey day, wish I could find that game

I was 12. Good memories. I watched the game with family at my grandfather's house.
