I Just Scanned A Colts Forum To See How They Feel About The Dolphins

Not that I want to but I think the way things are going 9 and 7 may well get you in this year. So I’m not sure drop this one means we are done.

We need to be playing our best football in December no doubt.

I’m most worried about that Minnesota game.

I dunno bro, Minnesota is the least of my worries tbh.

For one, they look horrible right now, but even if we lost to them, Im not worried about an NFC loss. We really need to win these AFC games for tie-breaker considerations.

This Colts game is huge imo.

Gotta score TDs and for once get off the schneid EARLY!

I don't know crap about Indy D but have to hope they suck and we can

(a) move ball

(b) eat clock

and

muster at least 1 TD in every quarter

Win would be great. But at least play good solid ball for 4 quarters!

Must be nice going into every game, drive, and play having hope with your franchise QB. That's why Dolphins fans are so depressed as a fanbase. Haven't had a legit QB in over two decades. They went from Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck. I'd be optimistic every week too.
In terms of franchise QBs.....Luck is low hanging fruit in regards to that. He's a guy who hasn't been to the playoffs since 2014 and has a 9/12 Touchdown/Interception ratio in playoff games with a completion percentage under 57%.

The colts going from Peyton to Luck and the Packers going from Favre to Rodgers while we still haven't found a QB since our star who we never even got a Superbowl. World isn't fair.

Didn't the dolphins go to one superbowl early in marino's career and lose?

I think Tannehill returning could provide a spark but we are just so beat up I’m not sure where he goes with the ball. I wonder if we have any two tight end sets? Going to be a nice matchup between coach and signal caller Frank Reich who started out 1-5 and has turned it around and Gase our signal caller coach to see where these two guys stand in this matchup. I want to see Gase be the better coach today but I’m not so confident in that. I’m really hopeful our defense can out play the Jags, Oakland, Buffalo and the teams the Colts have beat lately. The strength of the Colts has been the offensive line and they are going with a new center today, so maybe we catch a couple of breaks as they get those kinks worked out. Prediction: 34-28 Colts.

That’s a good point. I’d be banking on multiple teams at 9 and 7 and I think if that’s the case the afc record is thrown out. But I may be wrong on that

You're a breath of fresh air for this forum but you might want to pump the brakes on the 'hamster' talk after you convinced yourself this team was going to the dance. Beginning of a dynasty? Ease up big guy.

I am more convinced than ever about the "Dolphins Dynasty".

I see it developing over the last three years. Good, consistent drafting and fairly effective Free Agency acquisitions. The replacement of problematic players is probably the most difficult part of the process, since you don't want to "cut off your nose to spite your face". You normally need some reasonable backup capability before you pull the trigger and we have seen that done with some significant players and coaches with reasonable backup in place this last year. I anticipate it will continue for the next few years until it just becomes a normal player replacement issue as we have fewer and fewer personality, contract and performance problems.

As for the "hamsters", I like that term better than "haters" because it seems to better express my mental image of those folks whose posts are loaded with hyperbole and dripping with venom. The posts I am referencing here are beyond opinions that identify potential problems and examine potential cures, but are inconsistent in their logic, inaccurate with their facts and clearly over-dramatized for effect.

For the record, I like the following kinds of posts:

1) Informative:
Either with general information or specific information as long as it is supported with some facts and is logical within its scope of information.
2) Humorous:
We all need a good laugh from time to time.
3) Insightful:
Presenting information in a perspective that is off the beaten path.
4) Opinion:
I look for the same supporting logic and at least a few facts that I look for in an "informative" post, along with some consistency with the opinion being given. When the focus shifts from an opinion to a RANT, I no longer consider it useful for anything. This is when a poster qualifies as a "Hamster" in my opinion.

I hope this gives you a more complete understanding of why I see a dynasty being created and when I feel a poster qualifies as a "Hamster".

Miami 34-31 in a nail biter w/ an INT of Luck in the end zone in the waning moments to seal it.

;) We got this.
