It is sad to say, but we on par with Cleveland's organization. We have an owner that doesn't give a rat's ass about this organization. Sure he says the right things in public, but as long as the money keeps rolling in, he can focus his attention on his beloved Wolverines. You would think with Marino having some kind of position in the organization, we could show some level of competence. But it seems as though he is just part of the horse and pony show or he doesn't really care about what happens to the team. I don't think we are going to see a change either. Ross has already hand picked his successor. That means he is likely to have the same mindset as Ross, so I'll die not seeing the team achieve anything. I should have known this was the case when they retained the clueless, moron T-Dumb. I swear that guy must have a stack of photos that verify a massive pedophile ring associated with the owners to still be getting these gigs in the NFL. It is no longer enjoyable to watch the Dolphin games because there is always a sense of impending doom associated with any amount of measurable success. This is my sick obsession, my drug of choice. I keep chasing that feeling of Nirvana I had in the past, but I know it will never come again.

What is your basis for such an argument? Seriously?

I get the frustration with this team, but we were 3 points away from beating the Colts (coming off 4 straight W's) in a game we should've won. Coulda shoulda woulda, I know. Maybe our coach is incompetent, maybe our QB isn't reliable enough. I get those arguments. But how do you go straight up to the owner that has no effect on day to day operations and has done anything in his power to put us in a position of success?

Thats like seeing a Waste Management truck cut someone off on the street and thinking the descendant firm of Huizenga is at fault.

Some of you act like there is a line of Sean McVay's waiting to be snagged out of obscurity. WHO are you replacing Gase with is probably the number one question that our terrible owner deals with on a daily basis.

The Tannenbaum point is tired. For all we know he's been stripped of his privileges by now. What is your proof that Tannenbaum is responsible for the latest blunders? The last T-baum move I can remember is Suh. Are you still crying over that?

It is utterly absurd to try to exonerate Ross.

Everything that is the Dolphins is under his authority. He is ultimately responsible for whatever happens.

Ross is absolutely to blame for tolerating the complete incompetence of both Tannenbaum and Grier.

Ross is a football idiot. Tannenbaum never should have been hired. Grier is a scout, and a lousy one at that. He has no business being a GM anywhere.

The fans should force Ross to sell. New leadership of the Dolphins is needed.

This team isn't young and they aren't good. We are looking at several more years of mediocrity and shame. This organization is broken. If Ross wants to avoid being tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail, he needs to fire his FO leadership yesterday!

Exonerate Ross of WHAT? What has he done since hiring Gase that has you so perturbed?

Every owner is a football idiot. Some of them just lucked out and hired the right coach at the right time.

Those holding out for a "brilliant football minded owner" should find a new hobby.

You don't make enough money in business to own a football team by knowing football. On the flipside, on FH you see people who couldn't run a lemonade stand giving management style takes lol

Ironically, those are typically the ones crying over the owner.

Nailed it. I know it's one of my common statements, but a portion of any organization is luck. An owner picks the right GM, who picks the right HC, and he's a genius. Every owner goes on gut feel and an interview and we KNOW how accurate those are. I'm not a Gase or Baum fan, and I realize the buck stops at the top, but Ross is the owner. No one can move him out. He's there. Get over it. Baum? You're right. He and Grier are here for a while based on draft and cap improvement. If people feel better venting about unrealistic wishes, I have no problem. But they ARE unrealistic wishes. Gase? Sadly, I think he gets another year.

How Ross continues to be Ok with LOSING, is beyond Me....while He slowly punishes the Fanbase. Like it or not...I believe We are stuck on a sinking ship with Gase/Tannehill...."WITH NO BILGE PUMP"!!!

How do you know Ross is OK with losing? I understand the frustration, hell I'm heated myself. But to have change year after year because you don't see success is a recipe for disaster. See the Browns!!!

I was a believer in Tannehill up until this year. He just doesn't have "IT" and I feel it's time for a change. With regards to Gase, I can see his vision, but it's just not coming together and he is to blame for some of that.

The Browns are gonna be amazing because of Baker..

You know who was enamored with Baker and wanted to coach him? Our very own Adam Gase

Oh what could've been.

Also, back to the OP. Every owner is retarded in football sense. It's all luck and at the time EVERYONE thought Gase was a home run. It happens..Nobody knew McVay was a homerun because his offense in Washington wasn't that good..It's all luck and always will be.

Jeez, that is a ludicrous statement... Most teams try to hover around and just above 500 and make a run every few years. We have been able to hang around 500, but when you are in a division with New England it just stops you from making any runs. People need to calm down about these losses, none of it matters when you see teams like the Chief, Rams, Saints and still the fukin Pats are still out there.

Some of our fans are certainly on par with the Cleveland Browns organization.

The Miami Dolphins without question have 1-31 caliber fans posting non-sense.

The Miami Dolphins also have a lot of fans who are bad at math too.

Only one team wins the Super Bowl every year, the rest are losers. What matters is putting an entertaining product on the field. Nice to be competitive and have some parity so any given Sunday you need to see what happens. There are some teams that are not that great and rank at the bottom end. Sucks to be a fan of one of them. Hopefully you are rebuilding, have a promising rookie or something to get you through the down time. Like Cleveland right now. We are exactly what our record shows. We aren’t going to the Super Bowl, just like thirty other teams. Nice to see Cameron Wake get the sack on Luck to end his streak without taking one, and Tannehill coming back. Howard was awesome. The Caroo catch was pretty nice to see. Was a decent game to watch. You weren’t going to get much more out of these middle of the pack, or worse, teams.

It took Cleveland getting a 'powerful' general manager to change this. Cleveland fired its head coach'who was a carryover' and OC at same time. Miami needs 'that kind' of GM

The things I'd do for Baker Mayfield in a Dolphins uniform right now.... I'm jealous of Cleveland.
