SarcasmTrade are best young talent on defense? Worst thing I read in probably 2 months on here.
I can see the sense of humor....lolInspired by the “trade our best LB” thread - I figured “why not”? I bet we can get a no 1 or 2 for them, respectively. Our D being ranked 29th WITH THEM suggests they don’t help us and we can’t be worse off without them. Trade them now while their value is at its highest.
Damn it why didn’t we trade Cam Wake in 2013 or 2014 since our D was never that great with him sacking the QB 15 times a year anyway?
Trade everyone!!!
Yeah, those threads sure have gotten old. People just love to pick a guy and hate on him.Inspired by the “trade our best LB” thread - I figured “why not”? Namely, "Dr. Jump on a RB's Back 5 Yds past the LOS" aka Kiko Alonso.Yes I'd like to play: Let's release and/or trade any player making more than 3.5 million/year. Save that money and sign the best coach and his staff money can buy.
If you go back to the Shula teams in the 70’s and early 80’s he traded a lot of star players right as they started to decline. Not as aggressive / early as BB but he seemed to have a formula to move great players nearing the twigjlight of their careers.
LOL at the “lost his leg” part! And an idiot like Tannenbaum is foaming at the mouth, just aching to sign their under-performing butts to a huge contract! I can imagine the press conference...
Tannenbaum: "Yes, the rumor is true. Today, we just signed Player X to a two-year, 20 million dollar contract. Player X was a Top 3 RB in this league (15 years ago), and we're lucky to have his experience and wisdom in the locker room. Yes, there were some concerns about his recent injury, but our team doctors have assured us that although he lost a leg in a car accident, he should be back to 100% by training camp. Other teams may have passed him by, but we feel that his signing has given us a leg up on the competition."
