Nothing special with their base scheme. Hoodie is a genius at game planning specifically to his opponent, and making halftime adjustments to counter his opponents scheme. Less experienced coaches, like our coaching staff, are too worried about being perfect at the "guru" scheme they've developed, that they force the same thing every week. Hoodie says "I see what you want to do, and where the holes are in your plan, so I'm going to change our plan to counter it."

While Gase, Burke, and coaches around the league are worried about being gurus of their system, Belichick just keeps being the master chess player, exploiting weaknesses in these guru's schemes. Brady just happens to be the perfect above average QB for his strategy.

Still makes no sense to me because certainly there are others who could counter the Dark Masters counter moves. I mean you have him figured out and Im assuming you are not paid to coach in the NFL so if you can see what he is up to why cant someone paid millions because they are supposed to be "good" at it do so?
Seriously though, Look at how open those guys are...Its truly like they are not trying to cover anyone up close but rather giving 10 yd cushions.
 
Let's not lose perspective here. Certainly, over the years Brady has shown he can put the ball in tight places with the best of them.
However, he's no Drew Brees nor Aaron Rogers and the majority of his passes are easily within 5 yards allowing his playmakers through those offensive schemes to do the rest.

IMO, It really just shows you how well that team is coached.
The OL, Where to go with the ball, how to run your routes to get open and leave space to gain YAC etc.

It's why you can plug a decent QB into that system and still win at least 9,10 games.

Without exaggeration, I think J.Garrapolo in that system had the ingredients to take it to the next level.

Because, he's better than them.

Bobby Fisher was a dominant chess player because he could see things and strategize better than his counterparts.

Because he was just better.
