Rt's Passer Rating

Sigh. If you think the pass protection was okay, you weren't watching.

Now, what is your excuse for why he has a 105.6 rating?
My support for Tannehill has been teetering of late I’ll admit. But today, watching him get hit on every play, hang in there and play well was really great and I’m thrilled for the guy and our team.

What would his QB rating be if he got any kind of blocking? He was hit on half his drop backs.

I'm no expert, but even my wife (knows nothing about football) said "why does Brady get to stand there and drink a cup of coffee", while Ryan was smothered on most every play. The OL sucks. Sorry. Give Ryan time like Brady gets and then lets see what we got.

Bs... props to Parker and Drake, Thill had little to do with that last play. I'm sure if he had more vision/pocket presence Stills would have been open for an easy td!!!

Did you ride the short bus to school? You know, the smaller ones special kids rode.
Without the Tannehill pass, there would have been no TD. No laterals either. Open for an easy TD? Explain that please. You are one reason I hate most FH. Dolphin fans. You suck!

This guys gets all the excuses. No line, no coach,no receivers and no defense. But give him another year after year to be a .500 qb.
Today the line was ok, receivers were good and and the RB backs were great. And we barely won. The Pats list this game. Maybe the coaches see him as a game manager and not a franchise qb.

The "line was okay" What game were you watching? The OL collapsed on almost every down.
I'm still on the fence with Gase, but QB play must improve and that starts with OL protection. Tannehill has not had that since hes been here.
I'm fine with game manager. Funny how many TD throws he makes while just "managing".
And even short TD throws, and after catch runs for TD's add up.
I'll take every point we can get.

Thank you ever so much for making excuses for him.

Here’s the problem: He doesn’t need them today. He won.

It would probably be a good idea to STFU at least for today!

Actually I'm wondering if you ride in the "special" bus considering I was being sarcastic, SORRY I WILL SPEAK LOUDER AND SLOWER NEXT TIME!

Yes, us older people sometimes don't catch those sarcastic remarks. If I offended you I apologize.

I liked the play where RT kept the ball and had a pretty good run in that first drive. The way we were running against them I assume if he hadn’t hurt his ankle we would have saw a little more of that.

Unless my math is off, RT is not a .500 QB with Gase. They have only played 21 games together and have a .619 winning percentage.

Shula and Marino had a .630 in the regular season.

Belichick has a career .680.

He is now sixth in the NFL in passer rating. I know that's a flawed system that doesn't take into account such variables as rushing yards for quarterbacks, but that's still saying something considering his injury and the state of the offensive line.

No espn’s “QBR” is a flawed statistic. It’s a toss up between that and football outsiders for the most worthless stats.

Or sacks. He is 15th in any/a.
