Tannehill Having Best Year Of His Career.

Yeah but they had the formula all along to beat us. Run game and pa and let the defense dictate. Miamis only real chance was Kirk cousins mistakes.

Let’s be real that defense is a whole nother level. In their building with that damn Viking horn blaring every other play just about.
I’m not defending the defense, because they sure as **** don’t deserve it, but they were gassed as well with the short TOP by the offense and there 3 and outs. The defense of the Dolphins just look overmatched in most of the games this year, whether that be because of coaching scheme or players.

They got no help so I’m not saying they did cause the o was trash. But going down 21 to 0 in 3 possessions isn’t exactly doing your part. 200 yards in the first quarter against. If not for the pick 6 they were going down for another td burger and 28 on 4 straight possessions. At least that’s how it looked headed to me. There was no resistance

Thoughts on Minkah ?

Been playing 7 years but you gotta see these last games huh. And it's 2 games not 3. Delusional.

Except that this thread was made before the vikings game and I was quoting what I said in my original post? Wtf are you talking about rofk

Although some of his shortcomings were visible yet again, this game wasn't on RT. It was a very bad situation for him and very few quarterbacks would have succeeded in his place. Not blaming him for this one. Team as a whole is just not ready. We need our best players to get healthy and a good draft.

It was an awful start.

But to start like that, have a defensive TD, and then buckle down to hold them to 3 points over the next two quarters is really a good comeback for that unit.

Meanwhile the offense has one “shock” run on the first play of the second half and did literally nothing.

Ryan Tannehill threw for 108 yards . . . .35 of them on the last drive of the game. That means when it was 41-17 . . . The passing game accumulated 73 yards up to that point . . . And if you factor in the lost sack yardage they were literally a negative yardage unit for the game.

No the Offense wasn’t just trash . . . To use where your anger has been placed after this game . . . .they were Bobby Mccain.

PFF has tannehill ranked 37th out of qualifying QBs. They take into account the dump offs or extended hand offs that turn into big plays.

Just saying.

Check the SCORING defense ranks.......
Checked it...they caught the Cowboys when they were slumping, the Raiders, the Cardinals, the Lions, and the 49ers.

Every other team they played that had good QB play defeated this defense.

Hmm that sounds like an excuse. Strange coming from a guy who made a thread accusing others of making excuses for Tannehill.

That’s fair but that was a nfl season high for yards given up in a quarter first one to go over 200 and our d in 9 of the last 11 games has given up 27 points or more.

About what? The pick 6? Film study and preparation. He read the split read the initial footwork off the ball and took the QBs cookies

As for going forward I think we need a boundary corner and to make minkah a full time free safety. Where I think we can get the most impact playmaking over the course of a full game from him. See no reason he can’t produce like the bears free safety who is ballin.

I said it before unless I’m getting it in the draft I would try to get Eli apple on the cheap. It would be a massive upgrade and very solid #2 option who athletically can match up with anything you put him across from. That’s the real rub with minkah at boundary corner the athlete gets trumped at times. But regardless he’s gonna work his ass off wherever you put him.

Minkah's IQ is off the charts but I'm not going to understate the fact he got abused on the boundary put that pick completely changed the momentum, I would love to see him at free safety, Minkah's a better tackler than Eddie Jackson but I don't think any safety has his kind of range other than Earl Thomas.

Yeah Jackson that’s it. Killing it for the Bears.

Did you see donte Jackson fire out of a cannon after that 2 point conversion take away last night? My god that looked 4.2ish. I want someone with that kind of swagger opposite x or at least that level tools.

I got my eyes on greedy Williams if it’s in the draft. Wiry yes but competes. Although I haven’t seen mucb I feel like that might be in our pick wheelhouse. Swagger.

If free agency I’m looking at Eli Apple hard. And I know miami liked him as the plan a in the draft going in.
