In Gase We Trust

It’s a shame I’d love to see Gase as just a head coach without calling plays. However I don’t think I’m willing to give him another year as his failure of actually admitting that he can’t do both should cost him the job.

If I’m Ross I wait until the end of the year to make a determination. See how the team responds next week. I lean towards giving him another year to right the ship simply because what’s the alternative? Burke needs to go. Gase needs to give up play calling and focus on the team and not just the offense. I hate that he’s not invested in the defense. Tell him he’s been warned.

But who knows. At this point, hiring and firing feels like a crapshoot.

Been calling for Gasy to GTFO for a long time. Sorry that you cannot get off the Gasy kool aid but I don’t give a **** about your feelings. Only thing I care about is Miami winning and that isn’t happening with your boy at HC.

I've said it all along...dope sits there showing no emotion like a robot and doodling away (or, as we've seen....pretending to doodle something important on his pad) while his team is underperforming and failing on almost every front. Dude's a loser who doesn't have it. I was given sh*t for saying I'd take Gregg Williams in a heartbeat but some limp wrist betas here are against a "bad guy" like him. F that...give me a hard bad-azzed coach who doesn't take losing easy and goes all out to win, taking chances and pushing his players instead of a "cerebral" , nerdy wimp who stands aimlessly and emotionless on the sideline looking like he's had his lunch money stolen and his girl banged by alphas.

Well to be fair, who really knows who to blame anymore. I haven't been impressed so far with him, but switching coaches every 3 years doesn't help either. He makes some questionable in game decisions, but how can we really gauge how good he is when we have Tannenbaum making personnel decisions.

Even if this isn't following the exact blue print of what the Browns just did bringing in a new front office Miami could go a similar route. I think given Tannehill's contract and how the 2019 draft is shaping up we should make some sort of change in the front office this year and make a decision on Gase after next season. Burke should be gone. Keep Rizzi. The contracts that have been given out are coming back to haunt us. Fire TBum and land George Paton. Let him decide what he would like to do with the rest. If he says everyone is gone well then everyone is gone and let him hire his GM. We could at least address the o line and the d line next year with a new d coordinator and if the offense fails again with an improved o line then Gase and Tannehill can go.

No GM will be perfect with draft picks but Grier has been bringing in talent. My two complaints with him is hitting on a higher percentage of 1st and 2nd round picks and investing picks in offensive lineman. In the first two rounds since 2016 we got Tunsil and Howard, Harris and McMillan, and Fitzpatrick and Gesicki. McMillan has been getting better this year so as of this moment Harris and Gesicki have a lot of work to do. I would consider 4/6 of those picks successful. I still think that percentage should be higher. Asiata was the only lineman drafted. I would like to see Grier stick around.

But...most of us are sick of patch jobs and not just firing everyone

I'm on the fire Gase bandwagon for the first time. Too many bad starts in game and it seems like our in game adjustments are not fast enough. Burke never should have been hired.
