If you were Gase right now, what measures would you take to attempt to save your job for at least one more season?

Give it up. If Gase is going to get canned, asking people how he can save his job is ridiculous. Why do you have a hard on for Gase? First you ask who is with me in support of Gase and now you ask this. The earth will still rotate if we get rid of a guy who couldn't cut it as a HC. I would be surprised if he lasts more than a week after the end of the season.

I would throw the medical staff and trainers under the bus.

Our coaches suck but we lost a ton to injuries.

I would pay to have Hayes, Wilson, Grant, and any offensive lineman we lost to injury.

Sit on the bench and pretend to draw up more plays during the game. You know, the "offensive genius" things that he has failed to prove over the past three seasons.

If he gets fired, he gets fired. There is too much good in my life right now to get overly emotional over a football team.

Start by giving up play calling. Unfortunately his massively over inflated opinion of himself means this will never happen. If he didnt have such a big ego he may have done a good job however he has, so he hasn't

How about pretend to give a **** during our last game. I mean hell I'd even actually watch the whole game... you know like every other coach in the history of the sport has done.

Basically, say "i cant control an entire team, ill step down as a coach to be the offensive coordinator."

Not really the premise of this thread, but in my mind he's just another OC that cant coach a team. Maybe he would be better with less responsibility.

Should he stay? Eh, no his offense is a train wreck. But thats the most compelling argument to me to save a job.

Kill a hooker. Stuff it in Ross' trunk. Be there when Ross finds it. Act surprised and help him dispose of the body. Job for life.

I can only assume Tannenbaum already did something along these lines to dingleberry himself to the organization.

Gase doesnt even look like he wants the job....he has a deer in headlight look like he knows hes in over his head and has no answers to anything.

injuries will most likely give him one more year but this team was bad even before the injuries.
