Tannehill Down In Flames

Kinda sad that you value someone telling you you’re right over the Fins succeeding, “bro.”

But the point you have missed and/or refused to acknowledge is this: That mythical QB of yours who can overcome a bad line, bad coaching, injuries, multiple offenses, and bad defenses to win a championship?

He doesn’t exist. And that’s why you’re never going to hear someone from the other side of the debate tell you what you so desperately long for. It’s not just that Tannehill isn’t the guy to lead this team to a championship (and he’s not), it’s that your hate for the guy was so blatantly evident that he could have been run over by a bus you threw him under, and you would have blamed him for damaging the tires.
Look man, you really have no idea what you’re talking about. If you really think my dick is so small that I need to be right in this debate over the success of this franchise you are sadly mistaken.

The lifelong passion I have had for this franchise runs deeper than the soon to be footnote RT. The expenses traveling to games. The merch. The 21 years of Directv costs (usually negotiated to zero lately). The alienation of family every Sunday. The brainwashing treatments of my kids to make them the next gen Fins Fans (all the while making them targets of ridicule by their snowflake friends).

You don’t know me. You don’t know crap about me. And the fact is I have no issue saying I WAS WRONG ABOUT RYAN TANNEHILL as we celebrate wins and playoff runs. But Cripes man anyone with an iota of an eye for this game knew it and knew it from his A&M days.

Seven years lost will create a lot of hostility. It’s time to move on. Finally.

Miami fans can't keep saying, well at least we're not the Browns. Newsflash, the Browns have surpassed Miami

Let’s hope the Fins don’t have to have to deal with winning six total game over the next three years just to finish a half-game in front of a team led by the 2022 version of Ryan Tannehill. Might be worth it to get the next Mayfield, but still.

We can agree on the last paragraph. But if you stand on your celebratory soapbox at this sort of time, you probably shouldn’t be surprised about some blowback.

Also, please, for the love of all that is sane and holy, don’t LITERALLY use dick-measuring in a debate. That just makes things weird.

It’s a metaphor. A large metaphor.

Mayfield lead his team to 7 wins and has 27 TD's in 13 games all while dealing with 2 coaches in his rookie season. This kid is going to be amazing, and that's the difference between a real franchise QB and the crap we've had. Too bad the Browns didn't knock the Ravens out though now we'll have to wait for Harbaugh.

Breaking the rookie td record in 13 games is crazy, they got some speed at WR (Perriman was an underrated pick up) but that group needs an upgrade Calloway ain't ready yet, as a rookie he was the most aggressive passer I've seen this season.

Yeah, if the starter never gets hurt
Don't underestimate the value of his playing in 87 games. That is invaluable as a backup and something most teams would love to have sitting in the wings to take over should the starter go down for a stretch of games.

I posted it a few days ago but I couldn't believe how many people were discounting him. His "size" issues were pretty made up too. He's plenty big enough

I don't care if you like his attitude or not, him and his attitude are here to stay and it's Gonna be a problem in the NFL for the next ten years. He thinks he's better than you, and hes probly right

Baker is basically 6'1 Rodger,Favre and Elway are 6'2.

Baker looks to have at least 2 and half inches on Russell Wilson here.

I'm pretty sure Russ is 5'10

Yeah the size thing on baker was really only those who WANTED to criticize him could make. You can be successful at 6'1

Now guys like kyler Murray are a different story. Whether you love him, like him, don't like him his size is an issue flat out. No one his size hasn't ever been a successful NFL QB. His closest comparison is russ and Russ still has an entire inch on him. And Russ was a 3rd round pick mind you

People let the size thing get to them about baker and there were guys rating josh rosen as a better prospect bc of it.

Baker's height issue during the draft was overplayed there's plenty of 6'2 qbs, 5'9 175 is a different story lol.
