Gase Fired!

Gases' own hubris did him in. As Parcells said you are what your record says you are and he was not good. His inability to build any relationship with the leaders on this team other than Tannehill made the locker room toxic. It had to end.

Tannenbaum will not return. It’s a complete blow up. Now Rex, that’s another story. Don’t think he was going around making calls to prospective assistants on his own. Where there’s smoke there’s fire IMO
 
The lack of support from his players was obvious yesterday post game. Very bad sign

Interesting that Rex Ryan knew there was an opening before anybody else did. I need to hear that Mr T is gone too before I can consider Gase gone as good news.

Too bad we lost some good players over his ego.

I personally would have been more comfortable had Mike T got the axe first...I have a feeling he convinces Ross that it was all on Gase and might sneak by holding on to his job...I dont like the Ryan rumors one bit....
 
The greatest indicator of success in anything is having been successful before. It’s a crap shoot otherwise, and hiring assistants as head coaches or QBs that were WRs with one yr of experience don’t work out well.
 
Tempering my excitement until I actually see what the plan is. Clean out the rest and get a good VP in place with a strong football pedigree from a program that’s had long term success.
