Gase stood up to a Billionaire? That makes him a working mans hero.

Old free agents aren't allowed either, so there goes 50% of the free agency pool off the top. Also must have a heart of a champion. Not sure what test is done to determine that. EKG, MRI?
 
He quit on his team. That’s worse than what Saban did. At least Saban waited until after the season had ended. What a little punk who thinks he’s so smart. He is so stubborn and did not, will not learn from his mistakes - he will be a fraud elsewhere should he land another HC gig. Which I find hard to envision after what he did here.
 
Can't wait to see him throwing players out to the wolves at his next stop. His ego can't take strong personalities. Gase is his own worst enemy.

Saban definitely quit too.
 
Gase always gave off the vibe of being a likeable guy, and he really must be bc talking heads all over the NFL still support him as a brilliant offensive mind

It would take no time at all to look at his results pretty much everywhere to this point and dismiss that thought

He is brilliant at sustaining relationships that aren't w/ his players

Seems to me like they should have let him draft his qb.

The team imploded under Gase. You gotta move on. It's true he might pick it up in his second stop, but he won't be the first coach who has done that. You run that risk any time you hire a first time head coach and it doesn't work out. Doesn't mean that you screwed up by firing him. It means you screwed up by hiring him.
