Kenyan Drake Leaving/wanting Out?

Hes not close to average running inside the tackles. Which is the real issue with featuring him

This is horse poop. The dude tore it up last season as a feature back, and he wasnt just running to the outside. He may not be a bruising inside runner, but he can make people miss in close spaces. He also just happens to be a big weapon in the passing game.

Pretty sure that was a tweet directed at Gase's firing.....maybe he was aware before we were.

I'm thinking the same thing. I don't think it had anything to do with him wanting to leave Miami. I think he was privy to what was about to happen.

Really would love to see what a smart creative offensive staff could do with Stills, Wilson, Grant, Carroo, Butler, Drake, Ballage ,Bolden, Gesicki, Smythe and O'Leary. Improve the O-line then sell out to draft one of the top QB prospects in 2020. Add another big physical WR if Butler doesn't pan out.

Drake has shown that he can be a gteat weapon when given the chance. No clue what Gase was doing this season.

I have no problems with how Drake was used this year. If you can’t pick up the tough yards and you can’t block, you are going to lose playing time to someone who can. Why is it that players on this team never are inspired by their betters, but instead just whine and want out?

Frank Gore outplayed Drake all year while he was in the twilight of his career. If Drake couldn’t beat him out for playing time, maybe Drake should look in the mirror and work on elevating his game instead of trying to find a new spot with less competition.

Drake needs to learn to consistently pass block well and make less dumb mistakes like running out of bounds late in the game with the lead.

He is dynamic and exciting for sure and I want to see him remain as a Fin but he has to do the little things well, not just a highlight play every once in awhile.

Thank you, next is a popular song right now. The song is about how people come into your life and you learn something from them, then move on to someone else.
This could mean he learned from Gase and is awaiting his next coach. Or he's moving on.
This is exactly how I took it

Drake is mediocre at best. good receiving, awful running the ball.

He's already a Superstar on this team. Lock him up before we lose him. The man can pay RB or WR very well. Let's make a smart move regarding our drafted talent for a change.

Does that make sense?
Saying Drake is a superstar on this team is like saying $hit tastes better with poop on it. When the offense is anemic, a handful of plays does not make you a superstar.

Superstar running backs can pick up a blitz. Drake cannot. I would say he had a few explosive plays, but I wouldn't say he's a superstar. Apples to oranges.

I'll take Gore's old a$s at 35 getting 4.5 a carry any day over 2.8 with an occasional 40 yard run. The standard in Miami has been so low.

Look at Xavien Howard.

Plays 19 of 32 games in two years, gets seven picks this year (3 were very bad throws and uncontested), yet he wants 13-15 million a year....

It's going to be a long 5 years until we fire the next coach. Honestly, I'm thinking the only way this team gets its stunning tradition back is when Ross either sells the team, or dies and the team gets sold to a football-first owner.

Stadium upgrades and logo changes don't win Super Bowls. Owners who know football own Lombardi trophies.

The Dolphins are Ross' property investment that keeps needing repairs. Sooner or later, duct tape and paying off inspectors isn't enough to prevent the sinkhole from swallowing the earth underneath it.

Just my one cent, because of my cap situation, I had to defer the other cent to 2020.

Spot on. People are too paranoid. He learned some things from Gase, and looking forward to working with the next coach.

Hell Everybody wants out of that organization after they get there. Coaches, players, executives....

Drake, Suh, Jarvis Landry, Ajayi, Jordan Phillips, Bill Parcells, Nick Saban, Ted Ginn, Mike Wallace, Ricky Williams, Wannstedt, Mike Pouncey, Adam Gase, ..even Wayne Huizenga himself wanted out.

Drew Brees and Ryan Clark only got a sniff and ran the other way.

It’s not normal for so many involved with the game of football to have such negative feelings about a professional organization.

It’s rotten down there.

It is slimm. A buddy just said he wanted Tomlin fired in Pittsburgh. I said be careful what you wish for Miami used to an organization that built from within and had two coaches in history (Pitt has had three). Miami used to be the all time winningist franchise in terms of win percentage. Miami used to have a **** season at 9-7.

Mimai is a **** franchise right now. I wouldn't want to play in South Beach either if I was a player.
