Mike Tannenbaum Reassigned / Fired Mega Thread

The minute we hired Tannenbaum last time, most of us could figure out we were wasting time. Sure enough, four years later and we’ve gone backwards. Setting aside the fact that we sqaundered four years of opportunity in our football lives, at least we are past it now and hopefully will turn the corner.

It's fun to roast Mike Tannenbaum. The Jordan Phillips screwup. The Suh debacle. Not signing Olivier Vernon in a timely manner then losing him. All great fun.

just wondering what this losing is going to be doing to earn his pay.
What do you guys think?

Is it me or I just believe all this is a smoke screen for the public. Something tells me MT still has the same role and all this is BS for the public. “Reassigned”? I call bs on that.
Usually people just get canned and not demoted.
I feel the same way. Something seems off. I don’t think he has the same role. But I don’t believe he’s 100% hands off now from football operating input

He'll probably give Grier advice on how to mess up even more

Part of me hopes that Ross didn’t just tell us what we wanted to hear and meanwhile T-Dumb will continue to have influence. I have no idea what the guy could be doing, nor why he wasn’t fired.

Consultant role. Probably nothing to do with football operations.

Wasn’t he a consultant with Phins before Ross promoted him to VP?

Doesn’t this show Ross’s ineptitude that the man he tabbed to run the whole football show simply accepts being stripped of all power and demoted to a consultant role? It shows not even Tannenbaum believes in himself. If he did he would have left and sought another VP role elsewhere.
