I Would Like Nick Foles In Miami

Lets not act like he was the reason the eagles won. Parkey doesnt miss the kick, he would have been the major factor in why they lost.

Still no. 25/40 for 266 yards. Only took 1 sack.

The eagles had 43 yards rushing on 22 attempts.

If you would have blamed Foles on the loss you are crazy.

2 picks on the bears side of the field.. One awful one in the endzone. Hes just lucky Trubisky is god awful and cant take advantage of a terrible Eagles secondary.

Foles is a perfect stop gap QB for 2019. I just don't see him interested in coming to a rebuild behind a leaky o-line. I'm waiting for someone to say, "you'll never win a Super Bowl with Nick Foles!" Yes you can and even the Dolphin's can if you take away the crazy coaching we've had lately. If we could tighten up the D and I think we have some great pieces to build around, run the ball with our 3 talented backs and take shots when they present themselves we could be a very good team. I don't really like the suck for chuck or whatever. When our guys lace up the spikes and go out there to play it has to be with fire in their eyes and an all out effort to win every time. Players trying to bomb for Fromm are going to get hurt out there. Remember William Haye's injury trying to hold up on a hit? Got hurt bad, you can't play like that.

I realize the roster is not in great shape but I think we have an outstanding nucleus of excellent young players. What was hurting us most of all was Gase and QB play under Gase, it was rarely good. With a new Head Coach, I think it's Kris Richards, and a QB we have a chance to compete with any team in the NFL. I would stop short of this complete tear down and going into suck mode. Were not that bad, our coach and QB turned out to be that bad. I hope wherever Gase goes next he takes Tannehill. It would be interesting to see how that turns out.

The players don't tank. They are playing for a paycheck and their careers. We just don't have the talent in the trenches to compete next year. Let alone a QB.

Foles is a great QB at giving playmakers a chance to make plays. He throws the ball up and gives his guy a chance to get under it. Unfortunately I don't see playmakers in Miami. We don't have receivers who fight for the ball. The only guys who could have developed into that weren't developed by the staff. Foles would be terrible here and I like Foles, so I don't want to see him come here where neither the team nor the player are setup for success.

The playmakers were fine when Moore gave them a chance in 2016. And how about Carroo against Indy this year.

The playmakers were never given a chance under Tannehill who was deathly afraid of throwing an interception (yet still threw a lot).

That team under Moore had Landry, Ajayi, and a Parker that Gase hadn't regressed yet. We're not the same team anymore, and that's no doubt a big reason why Gase isn't here.

Anyone that can’t see the talent shouldn’t even comment. The guy has vision, arm talent and football smarts we haven’t seen around here in a really long time. That pocket awareness is such an upgrade it isn’t even funny.

Yes, but never discourage threads like this. The comments are pure gold.

Every time I watch Nick Foles driving down the field in a vital situation, dodging rushers and altering his delivery to make clutch passes on 3rd down or 4th down, I'm thinking...man these are system enabled plays and Ryan Tannehill would already have the team in the end zone.

Yeah that Philly system is so great at putting Foles in 4th downs, Brilliant Plan. That dude knows how to ball when the pressure is on.

Arguably lol

Tannehill is the definition of franchise killing. He isn’t god awful but he isn’t even average either. He is the perfect QB to keep you from adding an elite prospect at QB. Sticking with him for year 8 would be so lolphins . . .so I expect it to happen lol.

Meanwhile Foles is making clutch fourth down passes with sidearmed looking throws to avoid defenders and winning playoff games.

Exactly. You've still got "possibly" and "arguably" in this thread. I wish I could say it was unbelievable.

I once dated a huge breasted girl named Cindy. I told her she should be sent around the world to cure all the hungry children. Likewise Ryan Tannehill has an incredibly rare gift...to make people see the world other than it is.

Let Foles play behind our OL for 3 games and see who he really is. Philly knows. He needs a major supporting cast.

If we don't fix our oline Foles would be dead by game 3. He's less mobile than RT.

Mobility has 0 to do with it. It is about reading the defense. Foles would be fine behind our oline and rt would make the Dallas look like a d2 college line.
