Probably would have done a better job of limiting his off script exposure. That I agree with.

Tannehill sucked, not breaking news but a couple things.
1. It took Gase until the end of his reign to know he was not the guy. He hitched his wagon to him.
2. He should have fired Burke a long ass time ago. Good coaches make tough decisions and cut dead weight.
3. Tannehill was bad but Gases play calling was pathetic.

So you're saying we just need to build an all time great defense so Tannehill can win a SB? Sounds like an easy enough blue print.

Yep— Tannehill: for when you need a QB that gets pushed along by the rest of the team.
I'm saying he allowed that clown Burke to keep his job when he was incompetent. So being stuck with Tannehill can't be an excuse for Gase.

Gase's dumbass could've had that defense and let Burke run them in the ground to be a perennial 9-7 team. Gase sucked balls at the difficult decisions he would've let Ray Lewis and Ed Reed walk because he can't handle tough personalities. That much is almost a certainty.

You can’t consistently win with a guy who completely folds when things go off script.
Tannahill gives you very little margin for error when it comes to the surrounding personnel.

By getting a QB and fixing the defense!
He did not, he failed, he was justly fired, and it's time to move on! He sucked for those two reason and deserved to be fired for failing on his contract and duties!
