I was listening to Mike Franseca earlier today to hear his Gase reaction, and he was interviewing one of the Jets FO guys (I think the GM? don't remember). The guy stated there was no asking any of the applicants to give up picking their own staff.
Something's fishy with that team, and I don't know what.
Feels good not to be a Jets fan though, I'll tell you that.

AnthonySabaNFL, I LOVED your breakdowns every week, watched every one, but let’s keep it classy and not attack a guy who clearly doesn’t seem right. Yes he’s not saying what actually occurred, but clearly there’s something wrong there.

Don't feel too sorry for him he's probably making 4+ million a year, plus Ross owes him a nice chunk of coin. I'm gonna continue to make fun of his stupid a$$, mentally unstable or not. He ruined my team!!!!

Like I posted, he was probably shocked he got the job and didn't want to jeopardize it by making any demands. They probably coulda paid him with beer and clams and he would have agreed to it.

I actually stated this multiple times during the season, that he was playing not to lose and keep it close at the end. This speaks to the talent we had when the injuries happened. He figured we stood a better chance playing it close and playing field position than it was to be aggressive, face the possibility of turning the ball over and getting blown out. I agree with the poster, I don't think he is a horrible HC and maybe having less responsibility will help him. I hope they let him be the play caller! LOL
 
I heard him say in his presser that he has to learn the jets offense.....what?..wtf I thought you had your own offense? This was a great move axing this idiot.

I think he gave a solid interview and was really proud to answer the question about close games with his 20-6 record. Of course everyone here will nitpick his every word and bash him but I'm pretty sure he'll do okay in NY.
