Who Would Your Non Qb Pick In The Draft Be At #13

The top rated DE, DT, or C on the board, in that order of preference if they were magically all equal.
pretty much where I am on this. DE before DT as we actually have a couple young decent players there. you can get a good center in the 2nd round so I might look at the best LB/CB on the board. As far as names, at DE I'll go Ferrell or Rashan Gary, Oliver at DT and Devon White at CB

How about a realistic pick? But yeah, Williams is my dude.
Now the real question is would you trade up for a player not a qb? Because most times teams trade up, it’s for a QB not a DT. Hell I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team trade up for a DT.

Can’t do it this year. If I can get Oliver/Wilkins/Ferrel in 1 and best center available in 2 I’m a happy camper.

Michael Schmitt - 5'9" 245 lb, hybrid LG/MLB out of Warwood Jr. High

Kid is a bit slow, but he's a game changer.

Edit: This is him at his playing size of 5’5” 120 lb, back in 1988

Just look at that intensity on #68

Offense or defense.
I’m going with Quinnen Williams from Alabama, He’d be an immediate difference maker in the middle of that defense. But that’s a damn pipe dream because he’s probably going top 3.
That would be a great pick. I've seen him pretty consistently mocked in the top 5, but it's early in the process and a few quarterbacks will likely sneak into the top 10.

Someone like Rashan Gary from Michigan is really intriguing. He can play inside or outside. Ed Oliver, the DT from Houston, would be nice. A little smaller, but similar to an Aaron Donald type. Dexter Lawrence, the huge DT from Clemson is another player I like a lot as someone who could anchor the run defense. The #13 spot is probably high for him since he isn't a great pass rusher.

Part of it depends on who's going to be our DC and what type of defense we'll run but I'll play along.
Trying to be realistic here.
Ferrell could be there but he could also be gone. If he's there we should take him.
Rashan Gary also could be there. It all starts up front and we need help at DE plus the team wants a DT that can rush from the inside so if Oliver falls to us we're running the card up. While I know we need another Corner nothing will change with our defense till we fix the D-line so I'm going D-line all the way at 13 unless a QB you really like is there.

I’m going with Zach Allen, DE from Boston College.

Reports that we want to build the lines, Boston College connection and a versatile player that can function very well in a 3-4 or a 4-3.

I'll include QB because there's only one.

Kyler Murray
Ed Oliver
Devin White
Clelin Ferrell
Greedy Williams
Dexter Lawrence
Deandre Baker
Rashan Gary
Brian Burns
Byron Murphy
Jachai Polite

Defense is a huge priority, most importantly the defensive line and at cornerback. But a guy like Devin White is a game changer and might be too good to pass on, and would give us a young nucleus at LB along with McMillan & Baker. I also think it's absurd how low most of these mocks have Ed Oliver.... He's a top notch talent.

It's just too early to even predict. I'd like a dominant DT/DE prospect, and there's lots of them in this draft. DE Nick Bosa isn't going to be there, neither is DT Quinnen Williams, but who knows, DE Josh Allen might slide because of his size and scheme fit, or possibly CB Greedy Williams because of his slow 40 time. I'm expecting the Kyler Murray to go top 10, and who knows, maybe Duane Haskins too, so talent like Clelin Ferrell may slide.

I'm NOT in favor of moving up, but I am in favor of moving down. We're in a good spot, but if we get an extra 2020 1st rounder to move down, I'm probably taking it as ammo to move up in the 2020 draft so we can get our QB.

Too early to know for sure … right now it's time to evaluate, test, and stack that board. Then we can figure out what to do.

That's a pretty good list. I'm betting that at least half of those names will be available, probably more.

In a 3-4 hybrid, Dexter Lawrence, the best NT in the draft. You know how much TB666 hates pressure up the middle, and now that the Evil Emperor wants a power running game, NT baby.

I would take Jonah Williams and make him my new RT. Bye Bye Ja'Wuan, it is time to stop overpaying for mediocre players.
