It’s A Miami Miracle...

The Patriots' defense gave up an average of 24 points on the road this year. With that # being slightly inflated with games vs the Derek Anderson/Nathan Peterman led Bills and the Josh McCown led Jets. The Patriots were 3-5 on the road in 2018. Two of those wins vs losing teams and the 3rd win because of special teams mistakes by the Bears. The average score of their road games was 21.625 points for/24 points against. The Patriots have not won a road playoff game since 2006. The Chiefs were the only team to hold a lead against the Patriots in Foxboro this year. The Chiefs scored 40 points in Foxboro. Which is 16 points more than the next closest team scored there.

The Chiefs are 8-1 (7-1 in the regular season) at Arrowhead this season including last weeks win vs the Colts.During the regular season at Arrowhead the Chiefs averaged 32.375 points for/18 points against.

Even without Hunt the Chiefs are just the better team. The Chiefs are a much better team playing at home and the Patriots are not the same team when playing away from Foxboro. This looks like it could be either a high scoring game with the Chiefs just being too much or it could end up being a Chiefs blowout. Belichick's smoke and mirrors will not be enough to save that team this time.
And really New England only won one road game outside the AFC east and that was at Chicago. Their other road wins are at the jets and at Buffalo

I’m hoping the patriots defense doesn’t get shredded...just don’t want to constantly hear the overreactions that our soon to be HC is garbage. That being said, go Chiefs!

In New England where the refs didn’t call a single penalty on the...

Yeah I don't know how people can see that as a positive for the Patriots and real negative against the Chiefs. The Chiefs had to play in Foxboro against the stadium shenanigans, the refs , plus all that other nonsense and still should have won. If that game was played in Arrowhead it would have most likely been a blowout in the Chiefs favor. Also people talk about the Chiefs being without Hunt in the rematch but no mention of Josh Gordon who had 9 targets in the 1st game. Only had 5 catches for 42 yards but he was still a factor.

Interesting as this sounds... pats fans are concerned about the officiating on sunday. I guess the head official doesn't have a history of calling "fair games" for them. Go figure that's what they are worried about

I need to see more. I need to see him win in Miami. I am lukewarm on him to start as I am with most of our hires.

I think in reality they have seen their team play on the road this season and know that they are in trouble. When there is a huge gap between your teams stats at home vs away while having to play a more talented team in their stadium where that team has been fairly dominant, I know I would be worried if I was a Patriots fan. Most Patriots fans are arrogant but they aren't all blind. They also know that they benefit with more favorable officiating in Foxboro so not surprising they are already targeting the refs.

Yeah if anything New England should be more worried that they gave up 40 to Kansas City at home. When’s the last time New England gave up 40+ pts at home? The only thing that worries me is the chiefs run defense. Can’t let those New England scrub rbs have a field day eating up clock. My greatest fear is New England gets lucky to have the ball last in a close game and they kick an easy FG to advance.

The Chiefs have an amazing crowd and that stadium will be downright hostile for the Pats. The Chief’s defense stepped up big last week and is showing signs of improvement. Barring some sort of freakish injury or coaching meltdown, KC should have this.

Good points, but KC has a quick strike offense. They may be perfectly content with NE playing a time of possession game plan, as it removes Brady from the equation, and they know they are capable of driving the length of the field for a TD in under a minute.

Enjoy these two games fellas. Football will be gone before you know it. It’s a long offseason.

Pay close attention to how the Pats cover Hill. No one in the league can run step for step with him .

If they play him man to man or even a single safety then they have the Chiefs taped or already stole their playbook .

NFL wants a Jack Nicklaus legend wins in old age type story of their own and will be sure Zebras are in right spot at right time as always for NE so "Old" Tom Brady can pad his HOF career winning one more. If he didnt know he was getting it he would be gone already.

NE walks in SB game easy and wins it all ... I for one am not watching or supporting any of it until I know im wrong.

I agree KC "should" win this one but lets see what happens with the officiating.
