is a helluva color commetator...

At the end of the game I wanted the main announcer to STFU while Romo diagnosed blocking schemes hot routes and go to guys at the same pace as Brady was calling them.

He should know the plays with all that time he spends with his lips on Brady's ass and probably other areas.

He does know what’s going to happen on just about every play before it unfolds.

Could Romo have a future as an offensive coordinator or QB coach? I also noticed his call on several plays was spot on calling what they were doing where the ball was going before the play. You can tell he really loves football by the emotion in his voice.

Romo can see it all in the booth but couldn't get out of his own way on the field.

Yes - was impressed as mentioned by the OP on how quickly Romo was diagnosing the Patriots offensive plays.

A really great insight for the television audience & enjoyed the enthusiasm he brought to the commentary.

Chiefs defense should have hired him before the game as a 'consultant'

Maybe down the road but I doubt it. I think youngsters would benefit from Romo's knowledge but coaching is insanely high stress

Agree. And he’ll continue to get more polished as a broadcaster though I enjoy the little bit of rawness / non-robotic manner in which he comes across as a human being passionate about the sport. He gives the best insights as any commentator out there.
