Crossman In, Rizzi Out

Oh now it's if we are trying to lose. Don't count on it.

2-4 wins?????

Have you not read multiple reports that we are trying to position ourselves to draft a high round QB In 2020? It’s all over the internet. How many games do you think we are gonna win next year? And also are you off your meds?

You are a strange one bruh. My initial comment was implying we are losing a superior special teams coach imo so if we are trying to lose than this is on par. I think we are gonna win 2-4 games so I really don’t understand how “it’s gonna be fun listening to us nuts next year”. Do you forget that everyone still spending time on Dolphins message board after decades of trash must be pretty solid fans? Come on Phindog lighten up a little
Rizzi was responsible for a lot of wins if we are only winning 2-4

Unfortunately they were out most consistent unit last year. Finishing 4th in the league while we hired the guy who’s unit finished 31st. Seems like there could be a drop off. What exactly are you guys arguing here?

The team will win at least 5 games.. again it does not matter.. you trade whatever it takes if you know its the qb you want..

Lol ok you think we are gonna be better than last year? We are not gonna be good whether we are trying to lose or not so I’m not really sure of your point here
To be honest I’m not so sure about that. Getting rid of Gase and company was the single best move this organization has made in 3 years. If Flores is a quality coach, we will be better next year.

Sad Rizzi is leaving, but not unexpected. Reminds me of when Wandstadt replaced Weustauff with Armstrong. How did that work out for us?

You could be right but I don’t want another 6-10, 7-9 etc season. Look at the Rams they get Gurley top 5, Goff #1 hit on some other picks and 2 years later boom super bowl

No, here is what you wrote:
"Jackson argued that Rizzi didnt want to remain after not getting HC job. How is that an error by the presumed new HC? "

Your comment makes it appear that Flores had no involvement with this when it is clear from Jackson's report that Flores wanted to hire someone else.

What is it with continual confrontation with posters on this site!!?

See, when I said "didnt want to remain" implies that Rizzi knew Flores wanted to go in a different direction!!! Read the English that I wrote!

If Flores really did not want Rizzi I am highly unimpressed. Crossmans record speaks for itself as does Rizzi. Flores is starting to smells like just another coach among lots of coaches we have had here that have to have their guys to build a winning team. When you have winning talent you keep it not trade it out for just another guy.

Rizzi's units were good at FGs. As long as Sanders is here Miami will be fine in that regard.

Yet the kickoff returns were horrible.

He's retained Studesville and Oden, both seemingly good coaches. Rizzi is one of, if not the, best ST coaches being retained by a guy fired by Buffalo a few years back.
Yea, I'm sure that Rizzi is absolutely thrilled to serve under the guy that was chosen OVER him for the job he interviewed for.

I mean, get real bro the writing was on the wall long ago that Rizzi was a goner.
