Dolphins Expected To Explore Dealing Qb Ryan Tannehill

Feels like daniel jones will be the qb that goes higher than people expect.

Provided a team buys into arm strength development in the pros.

Dak is garbage . His stats are inflated by two games where he balled including the last game where he threw 4tds vs the Giants who already packed the season in. With Zeke and that oline he should put up better numbers Guarantee they will be drafting their future qb in 2-3 years max.

Forget the Cowboys , Tannehill's contract makes him untradeable. Maybe we should convert him to WR that fingertip td catch shows he's got good hands, he's proven toughness, tall. Everything we need in a receiver haha
 
Cowboys wont give up on dak no matter what happens vs seattle.

They are prime candidates for the worst qb contract in football in the very near future.
 
Old old fan and I questioned from day 1 drafting RT and hiring his coach from a a college team that basically had a medorcre college record and expecting them suceed in the NFL. Dumb. Actually RT performed beyond my expectations and with a excellent defense and superior running game I believe RT may have thrived ie Joe Flacco. But we went the opposite direction with a game plan emphasizing the QB. So here we are after bad decisions hoping for a golden boy in some future draft. Indy sucked for Luck and Luck got hurt and Indy sucked again. The Pats have won even when Brady went down and lost coordinator after coordinator along with backup QBs for years and have kept winning. Forget all this yapping about a QB find the right coach and GM and finally then the QB issue will be solved.

Sick of the loosing and reading these threads about the logic of loosing for a QB. Loosing is contagious just like winning QB be darned.
 
Ryan is a warrior. He's taken a licking and kept ticking. Hell remember the report of him pissing blood.

I'm sure he's ready to move on to a better fit and better fans.

Funny you use the giants game as a dig, then say he should be better with zeke and the oline, when zeke and the starting o line didn’t play in that game...

But whatever. Dak > Tannehill is all I’m trying to say.

Yeah...a better fit as "prized back-up" ala Nick Foles.

Those fans will get tired of his limitations, just as we did. By that time, he'll be retiring.

He is a 7 year starter at QB, which is the most important position on the field. He has had stretches of good play and stretches of terrible play. Interesting. From Mando's article today, looks like even RT is expecting something to happen:

So the more likely scenario for resolving Tannehill’s departure from Miami is an outright release of the player at some point in the offseason.

Tannehill, by the way, is expecting that release.

All this from sources around the NFL, within the Dolphins organization, and others familiar with the Dolphins’ plans.
 
If “The Patriot Way” Ian coming to Miami we need to be less forthcoming with our intentions. This doesn't feel like it.

I don't agree with this David, I think the fortunes for that team were enhanced by the overall skillset that Wilson brought to the organization, his unique triple threat skillset made everyone around him better and the team as a whole more dangerous.

after 6 years of proving that he is a stand alone great qb, proving mostly everyone wrong along the way, folks this past offseason continued to hold on to their stance, everyone but a few said the seahawks after this past purge, would win no more than 4 or 5 games.

They were wrong again..the future hall of famer took a bunch of nobodies to the playoffs and a win.

it's really an old debate that has been proven time and time again that he was, and is, and has always been an elite qb.
 
my heart hopes we get anything for tannehill.

my mind tells me we will get nothing..he's not a good QB, average to below at best, with backup forecast.
