Do you still travel to games even if our chances are slim to none? I still don't handle losses well. Any instances where you went anyway and how'd it turn out ? Help change my mind unless you just had enough of us from Jersey.

i guess so that's what happend last time. I get really bad anxiety and just can't watch half the time is this just me?

I used to get that anxiety. I loved it. I hated it. Eventually apathy took over and made things easier emotionally, but I do miss the highs and lows.
Thanks i think apathy could be the answer. hopefully it's right around the corner just not sure what's taking so long. Anyway this was the first thread i started after being here 20 years glad i didn't get hung out to dry ! you to fishfan

I have yet to attend a dolphins game, been a fan for, oh wow, 30 years now. I enjoy watching the games from home, but really want to see one live in person. I don't handle losses well still either and feel more comfortable being home when they happen. I'm on the west coast, the dolphins have come here quite a few times, but I would rather see a game on home turf. Definitely a change in scenery and more importantly weather would be a good relief to going down to south Florida, if you have the means to. Even if they are having a rebuild season.

It's not much fun losing like we did that year to GB having to trudge to the car and then fight your way through the scrum to get out only for a depressing and silent ride north on the Turnpike.

Never fun to lose but if you've never visited Miami I would go and enjoy everything the city had to offer like great food and beautiful scenery. The weather temp is alway perfect especially if you are coming from up north.
The Fins win and it's even better

Reading your post it came to me the answer is head south after the game nothing like floating around in a pool in Miami or the keys.I think the problem may have been flying back immediately after the games

if we draft murray, yes. if not no. it wouldn't be worth it this year if we don't have a qb

I went for the Eagles game a few yrs back (I also live in NJ), and also the Bears game a few years ago. They lost them both which did suck. It's a lot of money to spend on a loss but if you make a vacation out of the trip its worth going. Although be prepared for 1/2 the fans to be from the opposing team in Maimi's stadium. That was the most annoying thing.

Went to the Pats game last year in NE. That was a major mistake. Yuck.

It’s going to be a tough year. I don’t anticipate us winning many road games.

I’m from the flats. Iowa, to be precise.

I’ve seen the tail end of the 70s guys. Watched Dobler lay a whammy on Den Herder on Thanksgiving. Watched Strock throw a hook and lateral against San Diego. And the SB loss the following year. And then some hotrod kid from Pennsylvania named Marino throw like no one had before, or since.

Been to two Dolphins games. Arrowhead in 1981, whipped the Chiefs 17-7.

US Bank Stadium in 2017. Whipped the Vikings in preseason 30-7 (I think).

Have not yet made it to Miami. But to those who can.....

Why wouldn’t you?

For me it will depend on the QB. If we have our rookie I’ll go anywhere to see the future of the franchise. I won’t be draining the travel budget on Jake Rudock or Falk.
