Come on! Ain't nobody want to see Osweiler for 16 gamesGo Murray if you believe in him.
If not, just go with Osweiler. No need to spend money on a placeholder qb.

If you want to go short precision passing attack I think Falks your guy. Great competition percentage in collage. Could be a sleeper. I saw him play USC in 2017 and he looked like the top notch QB while Darnald looked like the 6th rounderOne interesting thought that impacts the quarterback position....what type of quarterback do you think Flores and company are looking for to run their offense? Are they looking to run an offense similar to what New England does, good running game, short, precision passing attack, TE focused? Or are they open to other possibilities?
I'm not a huge fan of Daniel Jones, but I think he could run a NE attack. Miami likely wouldn't have to trade up to get him either, although things can change in a hurry come combine time, interviews etc. Ryan Finley is a mid-rounder who might also fit this style of offense.
If Flores is open to possibilities, I still like Murray followed by Haskins. Lock is interesting, but potentially an odd fit.
Been a while since I've seen Video on him, but isn't his arm strength questionable, at best? Not able to throw intermediate out routes? If you want to go short precision passing attack I think Falks your guy. Great competition percentage in collage. Could be a sleeper. His arm strength was probably the biggest knock on him coming out. I'm not really sure how it compares to the arm strength of other successful quarterback with weaker arms like Brees and Brady or an older Manning. Yea I know how dare I use Falk and these guys in the same sentence.Been a while since I've seen Video on him, but isn't his arm strength questionable, at best? Hard to run this type of offense if the D only has to play 3/4 of the field.
Some guys make it work, though.
Pennington didn't have much of an arm. If he had, he would have probably been considered "elite".
You do know Lawrence plays on a loaded team as well? Or are you just grasping at straws because you prefer Lawrence?
Maybe because he threw 43 TDs and 6 ints in the toughest conference in football while only playing 3 quarters in 75% of those games. I wouldn't dismiss Tua because he threw for just 295 yards and 2 TDs in the national title game haha
Tua was a freshman as well when he won the championship for Bama. I’m not downplaying Lawrence, that kid is going to be special as well. But Tua is an excellent prospect as well in his own right. He’s a freshman... and he crushed Tua... no comparison which one I’d rather have.
Tua is a good prospect... I just don’t see him as great.
Why? So you and many others here I see want a complete Tank but for who? People want to waiste a full season to get what they hope will be a top prospect at QB right? Is it Tua? Fromm? These guys aren't an Andrew Luck kind of prospects. Here's another thing what if they decide to stay in school and not declare? They do play for championship caliber teams so it's not impossibleThe worse veteran the players could get behind and not think there tanking
I don’t understand what past QBS have to do with Tua? There is no correlation between the humans. How many Bama quarterbacks off Saban’s championship teams have succeeded in the NFL?
Not hard to put numbers up when your team’s talent almost always grossly outmatches your opponent...I think he’s good... but not an extremely special prospect...Trevor Lawrence is!
