Would You Be A Nfl Fan If No Dolphins?

The behaviour of the league and owners is regularly disgusting and disappointing, however I'm too far down the line with the NFL to suddenly not be interested. Not sure what I'd do if the Dolphins left Miami, but I'd at the very least still follow the league and play FF.

If I were 30 years younger and not a fan would I get into the game given what I know about it? I would hope not.

No. Absolutely not.
The Dolphins were the FIRST sports team I ever rooted for, before I even realized what the NFL was.
If they folded, or ever moved, and WEREN'T the Miami Dolphins; then I would lose all interest in the league.

Nope. I like sports less and less with each passing year. The only thing that keeps me involved is rooting interest and nostalgia. If the Dolphins folded, that would be it— close the book on football.

Honestly, wouldn’t make much of a difference. The Dolphins have been so irrelevant for so long that my ties to the team are solely the result of my memories of better times. How this team has any fans younger than 25 is amazing to me.

I’m becoming less and less of a fan even with the Dolphins. Bigger question is whether I would be a fan without fantasy football.

I don't want to think about it.

The answer is probably, but it wouldn't be the same.

If the Dolphins moved, it would rip my heart out. It would take some time for me to come back, and I don't know that I would ever be as vested in another team again.

I found myself only mildly interested in the postseason this year... can't explain why. I watch every second of every Dolphin game though, win or lose...i love my Fins!

It's funny - I didn't follow baseball closely before I started Fantasy Baseball. I got involved in a couple very deep, very involved leagues, including minor league prospects being drafted. It got to the point that I ended up writing for a Fantasy Baseball Web site for a bit. Everyone's lives got super busy, and the main league folded. Since then, I haven't followed baseball nearly as closely.

Football, however, is different. I'm able to completely separate fantasy football from the NFL in my brain for whatever reason.

Yes as I love the sport but thankfully we don't need to worry about losing the Dolphins.

Being in Jax., If the Dolphins left, I'd just watch games, and special players like Rodgers.
I'd never be a Jag fan. The team and city are just too smug, like they've accomplished a lot.
The only thing they have is that they retired Marino in a blow out game. Haha, no super bowls though.

If the Dolphins didnt exist I probably would have never liked football.

If they left Miami now, I wouldnt watch any games. Maybe the superbowl for the commercials.

I love the game but only because I have a team in it, without them the game would be meaningless to me.

The Dolphins may suck now but when we win again the losing will have been worth the wait.

I'd have to go on a two-year sabbatical and then it would be 3rd place behind college lacrosse and the NHL
