Jason Witten Ends Retirement, Back With The Cowboys

My initial thought is “....well he sucked as a commentator anyways, so...”

But honestly, I’m interested to see how he does. Is he older than Antonio Gates?
 
Dude was clutch years ago but -- big mistake to attempt a comeback when

the "old" body was already in chill mode... He's asking for a serious injury.

My opinion. Of course.
 
This is probably going to end up as a thing to where he is sharing insight in the film room and in practice to the other TE more then he actually plays aka bridging gap into coaching so why not get paid 3.5 mil lol
 
Wonder afterwards will he have second thoughts? Then retire for good and go back to M.N.F.? But seriously, nice guy but need someone that the audience can relate to and vice versa.
 
I think he was probably going to get canned from MNF and I'm sure he missed the game.

Garrett supposedly wanted him to come back midseason last year.
