Dolphins Reportedly Front Runner To Land De Trey Flowers

Who cares what contract he's gonna get. Is it your money? Nope..Is it going to prevent them from signing other free agents or the draft class? Nope...move on. The only reason people care about the money is because it might make the team look good if they got a good player at a good price so the media can stroke egos. The overreaction to a hypothetical price is friggin pathetic.

What an idiotic post that completely misses the point.

What amazing insight you've provided as to why you feel the way you feel. At least I gave reasoning. What have you provided? Absolutely nothing.

Oh that's right, you're one of the ones outraged by news reports of what his contract "might" be. Another bruised ego.

Looking so forward to learning what "point" I missed.

While I like Flowers the player, I just can't talk myself into paying that kind of money for a dude who has a career high of 7.5 sacks. He just seems like a guy who benefited a lot from the scheme and his usage.

Your post is clueless on so many levels that i wouldnt even know where to begin.
Ego has nothing to do with it.
These discussions pertain to what is the proper way to build a contending team and how does a FO effectively deal with a salary cap. The only one injecting any emotion into this discussion is you.

This feels a little like the OV free agency. Young player, good player, but not at the price tag that's getting thrown around.

Remember how many were upset we didn't pay OV a Kings Ransom? How did that work out? BTW, Where's that crowd to apologizes?

You pay 25 year old Defensive Ends that have success in the defense Miami is running.

Cutting Branch and Quinn opened up the space his contract will take up, so in reality it's no different than keeping those scrubs around.

People are willing to give this guy whatever he asks for...in brand new bills if he wants it.

One of our own (homegrown), the same type of player, asked for this money and people looked at him like he was crazy.

If he signs for more than 10 million (Mario Wiliams blunder), Flores has lost his mind.

Wake had 6 sacks last year and they're letting him go. Why is Flowers such a big upgrade? No way we sign Flowers IMO. SMH 9 pages of posts over speculation that doesn't balance with reality...must be the off season.

We can split it.

I am sure we can get a few more FH members to chip in and alleviate your financial burden.

Your last sentence should be in the Pro's column, no? I doubt he's moving to Quarterback.

I see you don't know what Trey Flowers does on the field.
