Hyde5: Here's The Realistic Dolphins Qb Option In Nfl Draft — And He's Drawn Comparisons To Aaron Ro

Seems to be a good spot for him, I'd be a buyer in the second.

I actually would at 13 because if he was a finished product we’d never get him at 13, he won’t get out of the top 20.

I see a guy who might be perfect for the Patriot offense... I’ve watched two games so far, was impressed with his feet and quick decisions... don’t think he’ll get sacked a lot.

I'm still of the belief we wait until 2020. I don't think you reach for a guy just because the crop is so limited and you're desperate. I want a guy who is the long term answer and am willing to wait a year or two to secure that. Once you draft one early, he's yours for a while, like him or not. Actually, I would rather wait till 2021 and figure out how to get Trevor Lawrence. This thing is such a crapshoot. Guys you think are "can't miss" prospects turn out to be busts and the guy no one gave serious consideration to becomes an all-pro. I guess if it were that easy, we'd all be GM's. I agree I do see him in the Pats O, good assessment.

I want Haskins. I think he has the best deep ball in this entire QB class.

I wouldn't be upset if we traded down in the first round acquired another 2nd and/or 3rd and then drafted Lock

On the other hand I could see us trading up a bit for Haskins which would be fine by me as well. There are so many ways we could go...I trust Grier and co our last few drafts have been well above average

We can’t wait 3 drafts for Trevor Lawrence... trust me, I love him but you can’t waste 2 seasons.

I like The Drew Lock I saw in the two games I watched and so think he’s gonna be really good!

The kid from North Dakota could be a player and wont cost us a first rounder. Wouldn’t be surprised if we took him.

Easton? No hes pretty terrible, I know some hype him up but I watched the tape and there's nothing there

I say draft Lock... if he doesn’t show it in 2 seasons go all in for Lawrence....if Lock starts and isn’t the man we should be in good position.

But I really think Lock is going to be elite!
I think the only way you have a guaranteed shot at Lawrence is to trade this years first, next years first, for another's 2021 first. 3 first rounders would give you the ammo to move up in 2021, you could make an offer for that first pick no one would refuse. I know what you're thinking, complete lunacy on my part, but it would work.

I just watched Lock’s Tennessee game... he put 50 on them... quick decisions, gets the ball out fast... great mobility and can run and make all the throws. This is not Ryan Tannehill.

He looks perfect to run the Patriot offense.

I am sold!

I'm gonna hold you to it......

You got it... I don’t see any major flaws in his game...He reminds you of Mahomes a lot and is a bit of a gunslinger like that and is very mobile.

How fast he gets the ball out and the quick decisions made me think of Marino.

I’m not trying to say this early he is gonna have that career... but I see the kind of prospect we should be looking for and rolling the dice with... he doesn’t have Tannehill’s flaws.
