it's a 1 year deal , so they paid extra. He probably took a 1/13 over a 3/24 or something like that.

Similar to the contract JJ Redick signed with philly ... 1 year 24 M. Overpay for the one year to make sure he hits the market
 
well...i'm shocked by this but it makes sense especially after the stupidity given to Funchess.

I wasn't too focused on his injuries and much as his apparent lack of effort.
 
Yeah, because the first four years of him sucking donkey d wasn't quite the convincing Grier needed. He really wanted to make sure we threw away a few more precious millions on another utterly worthless player.
