Teddy Bridgewater Discussion (resignining With The Saints)

I really hope this is teddy leveraging a better deal with the saints. Signing him would cost us at least a third round compensatory pick and probably more to trade up for low teens to top 5.

Maybe we are playing games with Arizona, trying to scare them about running out of options with Rosen.

I would think if we signed Teddy he would cancel out the comp pick for losing wake. Unless we really go crazy and give him like 2 years 25 million

Which means he wants more than 7 per year. So we'd probably have to give a stop gap QB at least 8 per year. Why???
If this FO/HC think we can win with him then why did we get rid of Gore, Amendola, Sitton and Wake?
If we don't expect us to win with him then why pay him all that money and lose a comp pick when you know we'll have to draft a QB in 2020?

This right here is why I wanted Grier gone. Are his supporters still going to tell us that all the bad moves came from tbaum?
They said no more stop gap but yet we're trying to pay for a stop gap!!

No that one probably got cancelled by us getting Rowe. This one would stop us from getting one for James

I'm not following the logic if that's the way it unfolds either..

yeah it doesn't make any sense. If you think we can make the playoffs with him then you'd keep your vets to help him out. If he's not good enough then why pay him?

Miami needs to start some qb for 2019. Thill is too much money. They are not going to stick Falk or Rudock out there.
