Ryan Fitzpatrick To Miami

Hopefully this doesn't eliminate the possibility of trading for Rosen if available (trade parameters already agreed on?) and unlike last year in AZ, this time spending a year to develop him under Marino's tutelage.

Maybe Miami wanted Fitzpatrick to celebrate St Patty's day in thier own way. ;)

Listen I became a Dolphins fan because of Dan but his tutelage? Where has that been since he retired? He gets fat eating steaks at Shula's then shows up on sundays to get his butt kissed...Marino hasn't helped a bit since he retired

Look all we have is a decent secondary, medocre linebackers, no defensive line. Poor olino, injury prone receivers, shakey tight ends, and Drake at running back. We lost our best coach when Rizzi left so special teams are a huge question now. Plus we have av rookie head coach.

To expect a streaky over the hill QB to make a big difference with this mess is not going to happen.

As I posted earlier the oline should be the priority this year not to win but to build to win for the future. Sure if there is a stud sitting there in defense when we make the pick if not trade back and get the value on the oline in the 3rd rounds or later.

In the meanwhile at least Fitz will at least offer some flare on a organization that is lacking some.

Not a fan of this signing but the moaning is hilarious.
If you think this is funny, just wait for some dolphin fans wet dream next season. Bitch when we win and bitch when we lose. Some of our fan base will wallow in the negativity for 16 games

The team doesnt want to lose its first round pick next year from the league by tanking.. so they signed a guy who had experience but wont win a lot of games. I'd love to see who Fitz is better than that we play this year. Sling it buddy. At least we will score some points

He’s why legends of the game aren’t always good tutors. The legends just go out and do it. They aren’t taught to produce in the clutch, they are just wired that way. And they have a hard time grasping why the players they mentor can’t just go out and sling it. Dan’s a figurehead, nothing more. But, assuming he pays attention to these things, I’d like to get his pre-draft opinions off-record on guys like Carson Wentz , Mahomes, Trubisky, guys Miami didn’t shoot for to avoid rattling Tannehill.

Scoring points kind of defeats the purpose of losing...8-8...just watch...then we're right back here next year discussing signing Carr

I am  my ass off. Is that smell from all those diapers full of **** from the "we are tanking" crowd? :chuckle:
At least I hope you all were wearing diapers otherwise you just **** your pants. :eyepop:

Like I said in the Taylor thread: the right way to go is to get a vet presence to raise your young'ens. Looking at the lumberjack of the NFL I am pretty sure we are going for Haskins or Lock in this draft. Both are more like Fitzpatrick. Wouldn't make sense to get Murray who is a different type QB. Both are also prospects who could use guidance from a vet.

Fitzpatrick is a Matt Moore on steroids. It will be an exciting roller coaster season from absolute highs to total devastation with FitzMagic at the helm. I tell you what: our receivers are licking their chops having a gunslinger like Fitzpatrick at QB.

Let's put that "we are tanking" to rest. It was never really an issue. It was a wet dream from some fans who live in fairy tales.

For those who simply cannot let go of Tannehill: look at it this way - they are both named Ryan.

Let me tell all you ignoramiouses something lol. I know a lot of Dolphins fans and do you want to know what they are thinking about this signing? These people have no idea this board exists and they don't care. No Lie. They are hoping that he can help us WIN!.

Oh I agree was just responding to the previous comment saying Marino's tutelage is an asset...he hasn't really worked with any young QB ever as far as I know...he quit a front office position after a week...AND truth bomb incoming he never fully got it done on the field...and he's one of my heros
