Total Rebuild- Trade Stills, Wilson, & Grant?

If we are tanking I say keep Stills and trade Wilson & Grant. We will need TD passes dropped.

I don't think teams would give you a 3rd round pick for Wilson or a 4th round pick for Grant. Landry and Antonio Brown were traded for 3rd round picks. I know their situations were different, but I don't think Grant's played enough or produced enough to warrant a 3rd or 4th round pick.

If they did, would you take it?

People really overrate the **** out of draft picks. Few things dumber than trading good young players for draft picks.

Also, when did the 3 years myth start? It simply doesn't take that long to build a contender in today's NFL. If you get a legit QB, you're cookin', even though they nonsensically managed to make the O-line worse. A decent GM and good HC can turn it around in one year if you have a QB. So trading good young players for unknown draft picks makes no sense whatsoever.

Total rebuild doesn't mean getting rid of every player on your roster.

I defer to your knowledge and mathematical wizardry if you can explain how three players out of 53 are "every player on your roster."

This should be good.

FYI, I have been posting much longer than you and, in the past, much more often.

However, a poser's time and number of posts should not be reason for ridicule and/or name calling.

JMHO from 20 years of posting.

20 years of posting...

Why not sign in with your 20 year handle...or were you hit with a ban hammer?^

who can forget the first game circa 2016 when he dropped that wide open td pass that would have given us the lead.
i cant think of anyone in the Ds roster who has dropped as many.

the necessary inference is that the WR who has the most dropped passes will be the one to to have the future drop, as opposed to the WR who has nary one.

More of a commentary on all the "trade so-n-so, because we're rebuilding!!1!" threads. This just happens to be one of the worst ones.

However, whatever they will do in the next few years is just not gonna matter in the big picture of rebuilding.

Kyler Murray disagrees. I spoke to his agent. He says he needs those speed demons so he can drop bombs. :chuckle:

It does matter, South. You don’t trade those guys at this age. You hope to make one or all superstars and trade them right before they get old, the (throw up in my mouth) Patriot way.

Today, what would we get in return for 3 guys who are legitimate threats to score on 1 play? Mid round picks? Why would we do that? I’d rather have the young explosiveness than an unknown draft selection.

Now, if we’re moving up, if we are indeed nutting up to go get our QB- “Step right up folks. Come get your Stills, Wilson, and Grant.”

I see that you have not gotten any better and/or more knowledgeable over the last few years.

Time to learn more than you think you know. JMO

If I’m the Dolphins, everyone on the roster minus Tunsil is for sale at the right price.

That I can agree with. He’ll, my kidney is for sell at the right price.

IMO the right price would have to be the incoming call overpaying. If not, it’s just not worth it.

Absolutely - no way in hell I am making rounds with teams letting them my young WR core is for sale, and I love our dynamic group there.

I can’t help but worry that our WR core is plenty well suited for Fitz and I don’t think that’s a good thing.

Well said but, the ammo for our "Savior" needs to be secured for 2020, and our WR's will do that.
